Einstein still amazes me to this day, he was not even human to be able to think all of his theory out of imagination only. He's truly a genius.
@lapin463 жыл бұрын
His ideas and theories did not develop out of nowhere or pure imagination. He was picking up the exiting science around him at the time and was employing recently developed mathematical procedures. That does take nothing away from him. It is just how modern science works. One puzzle piece after an other, some bigger, some smaller, some have to replaced again. And some individuals contribute big things, some smaller. When it comes to quantum physics and relativity, it all benefited from technological developments such as optics and electricity and from modern mathematics. It took centuries of prior art for the world be to at the stage to be ready for his contributions. He contributed to many many more things beside relativity. Strong mind with strong competency to use tools, in his case mathematics.

Secondly, he destroyed our frames of reference by mixing space and time which we arbitrarily define as not the same thing. Thirdly, a force is not a thing a nothing that affects something. It is not something else like matter. Because I think of moving you from A to B does not make you move. So, E = mc^2 says what? A particle in motion is energy. He used the fastest possible limit to motion which is the speed of light as a limit to that force. He said nothing else.

@Aryan Singh bro not everything is wrong here. I too dont like indian education and am a great admirer of our ancient gurukul system. Albert Einstein went to special college where his curiosities where not supressed, he met some like minded people. He happened to experience the same thing that you say you are experiencing. His teachers never appreciated him back in his school. Second thing there are teacher who promote scientific temperament in students but how many of your classmates did actually wanted to learn, not everyone is topper. So the teacher has to teach in a way that even the poorest of the students would at least get passed. I like the gurukul even because each student is adviced to choose a stream or field and attain expertise according to their actual mental and physical strengths. Not every student sat with have zero interest and knowledge of the subject . I am not saying that the teacher in your case is important but its just that u should not balantly say what the others are saying. The education system is at fault here and so do you and other students (hardly 5 percent but still). Just try understanding this too

Watch the movie. In an earlier scene Albert is in a class that works similarly to modern classes. Focusing on forcefully memorizing formulas instead of understanding. She said, "well, as you approach closer to the speed of light mass increases infinitely, hence you need infinite amount of energy." She turned, with a sense of pride, and relieved with an assumption that I was done. As she turned away, I asked, "but, you said before that mass can neither be created nor be destroyed. How did the mass magically increase. Where did that come from?" She looked at me and said she'll get back to me. This was before Google had all the answers. You see it doesn't matter if you're a born genius or not. If your willing to go all out then your hard work will beat some born genius who knows the atomic radius of elements on the periodic table. It will take time. It will be painful. But in the end you'll get there.

3 years ago in my 11th class, I was introduced to Newtonian mechanics. One day my teacher was in the middle of an advanced pulley problem discussion, but I quietly stood up, and asked my teacher "What is time?". He said "look at the watch idiot, why are you asking me.!" I was laughed upon by the whole class. :(

Well probably because your question was not in the same topic yet..... But a teacher should always help you fill out your curiosities, and not just end a students whole KARER and dreams right there, just because he wants to look cool in front of the class

Turn back to a child then.... oooh. I remember me and my other 9 year old friends used to create entire universes and stories with working plots and family trees... I even came up of the idea of an arctic seal using an special-species-of-earthworm powered time machine to rescue his father who was trapped in the past... The story has gone: a boy and his father build a time machine to rescue two sisters of the boy who have died in a car crash. Both of them get there, take the sisters, but... They got so excited that they forgot to take the father back with them. The father was left in the past. The seal and his sisters would really like to go back in time again and save him, but they don't know where to find the special earthworms. I think it's pretty sad that this ended up being the only thing I wrote down from our play. Those times are gone though, and I don't think I could ever have an imagination like the one I used to have together with AF, KM, WM, MŁ, and the other girls who took part in the play. F.

Safety Time Machine Key Points 1. Automatic door lock. 2. Goes invisible. 3. Moves objects out of the way. 4. Has camera/TV inside so the time travellers can only observe history. 5. Can stand extreme weather. 6. Has solar panels. 7. Has rocket fuel. 8. Rocket fuel fades extremely fast in the sky. 9. Automatic probability control so history doesn't change on it's own. 10. Uses wormholes to time travel.

I once I asked a question as complicated as this, my teacher asked me to meet me after class. When I met her she scolded me cause she didn't knew the answer but I did and this made her look smaller than me according to her. Her little ego bubble that the people she is teaching are below her was burst and this is what I wanted to do but I got the least amount of marks I've ever gotten in any class my score literally went down to 60% because of that one ego centric lady. I hope my teachers were as good as this guy.

A good teacher is one that when they see your drive and thirst for knowledge they fuel it until the pupil rockets straight out of the teacher's knowledge and experience, all the while urgining and encouraging you and feeling proud that they contributed to that. A bad teacher will be outraged at your audacity to question what others before you have worked for

The thing I find most interesting about these type of movies is how fascinated average/regular/ base people are about the ability to think about possibility outside conventional wisdom. Why is looking or hearing a person asking "what if" so amazing? For that matter why are those who are able to use logic in combination with curiosity so fascinating? Is the ability or strength to go against the stream so interesting that the majority must ostracize and awe at the minority who are able to look past the veil of possibility? Why are those who can stop and see other probabilities and possibilities in the face of absolution so profound? We are all able, so why awe at those who practice what we are all able to do? Because in the end, is it still not only natural?
