I have a feeling a lot of these results would be different if they weren't just free air speakers laying on a table.. a sealed box would work way better and give a much better representation than this A lot of what sounds better free air is just going to be which one has the midrange that catches your ear.. whether it's due to a peak or just more high end than you'll actually use when you pair it to a tweeter..

im on my home computer that has speakers that will shake the walls,all im hearing is treble man until you pick up the speaker,is your mic above your head ? you need to do something different bro.they all sound terrible the way your doing it.it would be great if you had the mic next to the speaker and when you have them in enclosures.i am not trying to sound mean,it just sucks that we cant hear what your hearing.you should fix it.
