From my understanding, Genemic Imprinting does not mean to IMPRINT TO EXPRESS. Genemic Imprinting means to TURN OFF the gene and that won't be expressed . Genemic Imprinting is Gene Silencing

Igf2 gene, the mother's copy has been imprinted and is inactive or you could say Insulin-like growth factor 2 (Igf2) is a paternally expressed imprinted gene: 2:03 (instead of paternally imprinted you could have said maternally imprinted and the expressed allele is paternal).
