Instead of giving us a nice entertaining story which will make us feel close to the main char, they just keep giving us "5 star" characters story that have shit to do with the main story, NPC story quest which its even less to do with the main story and events that are even worse.. If they put all that effort into giving us a nice story content relative to the main story we would have had the best game in history.. but no.. they made the game for retarded kids who want to shot slimes and talk with npc. and have zero problems with it. Its like watching a movie in which the main story is 5 minutes of the whole movie. And i think they will keep doing the same with the main story, we will have a couple of hours in the next fountain part, then a couple more in between natlan, and maybe a bit more at the end of it. Meaning in the next 1 year or more we can expect a whooping 6 hours of main story and 200 of bullshit. :/ sorry for the long comment but this piss me off so much :(

little something i would like to add to this, remember the battle pass cutscene? it's a princess that got manipulated, so if we COULD use that as a reference/hint, then choosing Lumine would make no sense... unless, it doesn't matter who we choose, because regardless of the choice, the abyss twin will always be the fake. what's even better, what if, the "sustainer of heavenly principle", is the REAL sibling? hence why she was pissed off and sealed away the abyss twin. Another possibility, is that the real sibling is already "dead", and the remain was used to create the gnosis... yes, our sibling arrived first, eons ago, before the great archon war, as the third decender, who's remain was used to great the gnosis (which explains why traveller, who would have the same elemental property, could control all element), and the abyss twin was a clone that was somehow created from the original? so, he/she knows the truth, and wants the traveller to find our him/herselve?

There is another thing that supports the traveller's memory being altered; Thats venti's "hello" voice line. Venti had met the traveller before. Unless venti can time travel then the traveller's memory has definitely changed.

Reason being, that the sister already went through the whole story, and tell the traveler to do the same, while from and outsider point of view, they're not even having the same experience, its just a story that's not even written that well for now, plus is short as hell. If you connect the dot with the Teyvat Chapter Storyline official video, after Snezhnaya Act, there is an unknown act named « The Dream yet to be dreamed » and we can see the traveler still being alone even after the last act. And in the monologue of Dainsleif he tells us « My Memory has all but faded completely…But I will always remember how much she (real twin?) too loved these flowers » thus further validating your theory about memory alterations. I was thinking about this possibility too, but from a slightly different angle. From the beginning of the game, we were told to "choose a twin". And we see the one we don't choose get covered by blocks and condensed into an energy cube. Then we ourselves get covered by blocks. The next thing we know, we're on a beach somewhere with Paimon. So... What if Teyvat is a simulation and each real twin is in their own respective simulation? However, the abyss twin is a fake copy of our actual twin, there to convince us not to try leaving this simulation. That's why Irminsul doesn't call them a Descender. However, there are a lot of holes in this idea. My theory is half-baked, but hey, so am I rn. Happy 4/20 everyone!

I'm not sure if the moment traveler arrived in teyvat has already been told to us, but maybe he arrived with his sibling, or maybe his sibling came first (could they be the 3rd descender? The third decender could have the same affinity with the ellements like the traveller, and that's why they became the "material" to make the gnosis, as we see the sibling being trapped by the goddess) this way the traveler would wish to see the sibling so bad it created that fake sibling

I had this theory that the travelers are from Khan because they questioned their memories and since we know one can go and tweak the branches and make people remember things differently. They could be from this world after Khan got destroyed, after 500 years you wouldn't recognize the place. Maybe the twins are the same person, who knows. But by the way, just because we are told our memories can't be tampered with because we aren't from this world, doesn't mean it's true, has anyone ever tried? There was an event with Dain and the Leylines, where we did ''watch'' memories and almost go insane, waking up from a nightmare, because you don't need magical trees to rewrite memories, you just have to give someone a terrifying dream that thy will think about over and over, slowly convincing themselves that it's a possibility. That's how people slowly go mad and get lost in a fantasy, kind of like we theorize our twin was lied to.

When Gold creates beings, she pulls their spirits/souls out of the Abyss and gives them bodies - at least that's what we're told with Elynas. If it was the same with Albedo, then Albedo used to be someone/something else. At least his soul/memories/what have you. If Khaenri'ah was using the same Khemia practices to summon the twins, then maybe we also were sucked into Teyvat from the Abyss - the Abyss in this case being a little farther out, like in space/outside the eggshell. Like, the regular Khemia creations used souls from the Abyss, but since they wanted to summon a Descender, they altered the formula to try and pull a soul from beyond the Abyss. If we were both created via a form of Khemia, that would explain why Albedo found similarities in our makeup.

The witch that tell the traveler to believe his/her memories because his/her memories are true. His/her actual sibling was captured and "prisoned" in Celestia while the abyss twin was a clone one created by the traveler 's desire. The clone abyss twin might not even realise that she is a clone all the time. If the traveler would destroy the celestia, the abyss twin will disappear. You can reference to the anime Gurren Lagann's Nia who also disappear after the destruction of the alien.

So far, "fate" has proven to be a superstition. Nobody cursed Fonteinians. "Carving" prophesy into Irminsul does not make it happen, it just makes it known to everybody. Serious prediction of the future is only possible in very limited context (and automatically fails for anybody cool enough to have themselves as the constellation). Gods did not smite Kaenri'ans with Curse of Wilderness in the middle of the Cataclysm, hilichurlification was always a threat for Kaenri'ans leaving their home country.

Completely unrelated but another clue that Teyvat is inverted is the map. If you look at the map the location of the 4 winds are all wrong. Wolf of the North, the Lion of the South, the Dragon of the East, and the Falcon of the West are all placed on the wrong side except when you flip the map upside down

I just noticed there are 5star items in our quest inventory. I am farming for a circlet artifact then saw rosaria's crown. What if every quest item corresponds traveler's artifact on endgame. nahida's branch can also be a flower artifact, while narwhal's waterlike item is goblet artifact, zhongli item that I don't know can be sands and dvalin's thing is feather. the other 2 items might be some kind of weapon or ascension thing for traveler (sorry for bad english)
