This scene is the abyss sibling perspective of Archon quest chapter 1 act 4 "We will be Reunited". It will show the stomped dandelion and footprints of ruin guards which hints the presence of abyss sibling in the quest.

This scene took place on the first Dainslief quest just on the perspective of the abyss sibling.. at the near end of quest when Aether senses something on the top of the cliff and there is a ruin guard footprint and a dandelion that has been stepped in.

Like someone already mentioned, this is indeed a flipped point of view during one of the archon quests. You can pinpoint the moment in your playthrough. Episode 327, 24min 30sec to 29min 20sec

7:27 Pre-1.2 Dragonspine! edit: It appears you found this out later in the video. I still think it'd be interesting to look at the 1.0 map. I believe one of the game tutorials in early game to this day still shows the 1.0 map with the old Dragonspine. 21:00 This scene actually plays out from your perspective at the end of the first Dainsleif quest. Might be cool to rewatch with context -- 24:33 of episode 327 of your LP.

I agree! Abyss Lumine is incredible. I don't find that Abyss Aether has quite the same mystery about him. Also the relationship between Abyss Lumine and Dain feels like it has more nuance, which I know is completely subjective because the voice lines are all the same. Edit: Also, since you like fucked-upness: since when we get hijacked by the Sustainer at the beginning of the game she puts us in those cubes, there's a theory that every one of the cubes at 12:35 is containing the soul of a Khaenri'ahn currently being trapped/culled (:

The grittier stuff in Genshin is usually relegated to the World Quests for whatever reason, maybe Natlan and beyond will be darker. Also you are fine to talk over or laugh during your first watch, most of us have watched all of these and have the ability to watch it clean if we really wanted plus you do actually go back and listen to it again so there isn't much worry about you missing anything.

About the 'white color' on the Gems of the Abyss Sibling's dress: at the VERY beginning of the game, when the Twins are fighting the Sustainer of the Heavenly Principles (with wings, golden weapon and all that stuff), they both have 'white Gems'. After being sealed, the Traveler awakens with 'grey Gems' and no powers at all (the 'Tutorial' part with Paimon on the beach of Mondstadt); and then, obviously, their own Gems take the color of the Element they currently wield. But when we meet the Abyss Sibling, we see that they still have the White Gems (and their Golden Sword); we just don't know if they regained their power somehow during their journey or if they never lost it at all (this is consistent in all the appearances of the Abyss Sibling throughout the game, both in the 'present' or in flashbacks - even in videos that depict them far in the past). Also, Genshin Impact has different official channels in different languages, so in order to watch a video with a different voice-over you usually have to check those. A strange exception is the New Character Announcement: 'Fischl can't lose just yet !', which, for some unknown reason, is in Chinese Dub on the ENG channel.

Im new here, i really like the vibe and your commentary(review), i like your genshin lets play but im not used on your early genshin gameplay, but i like your vibe and commentary there. For demo trailer imo it might be better to react full character (1hr to 2hr) from oldest to newest (it will give more views too)

Nice video! Almost everything I would have said have been covered by other comments it seems! But I do very much enjoy these reactions and your speculations! You did well to notice the white glow in Lumine's outfit because both Aether and Lumine had white glow at the opening cutscene before they got separated. This means our sibling never lost her powers like we did ^^ While you're still fresh in this sibling dynamic mindset though, you might want to jump into "The Road Not Taken - Animation short". It's a pretty recent one that's released to complement the most recent archon quest that you haven't played, but it did come out 2 weeks before you could actually play said archon quest (so it wouldn't be spoiler)

About character Demos... it's generally good idea to watch character teaser with character demo and Nahida's teaser specifically should be watched *before* demo for maximum output... even after playing through her story.

Yeah no worries there. When it comes to the demo's, I'll be watching a character's demo + teaser + miscellany (If they have them that is) all in the same video. In the order of priority being Teaser first, Demo second, Misc. third.

Please! You should watch "Road not taken"! It's a great animation video that perfectly complements the last quest with Dainsleif! (The one after Fontaine chapter) And the song in that video is just brilliant ... UPD. It seems yhat you haven't done that quest still but it's okay, that video doesn't spoil anything. The storyline in that video stops in Sumeru actually. And I think it's even better to watch it before you do the quest

This reminds me of when we first saw our sibling during the Mondstadt Archon Quest, and it was revealed that they had joined forces with the Abyss. That's when I was like, "ok now I'm invested!"

There are so much lore and world building hidden in book, item, monster or npc. Im having fun reading lore about signora, dragonspine and all inazuma world directly in game while exploring but Sometime its too much time to invest into I think reacting some lore yt channel might help save time. I agree it might be better directly into the storyline, but i kinda love it implement this way. Genshin is more like visual novel game with open world element.

If you like it the way it is, it doesn't mean others like it that way too. I am also "dumb" in the lore part and I don't like that we should watch some lore KZbinrs instead learning everything from the main quest. Also when I do some lore-heavy world quests I don't understand anything, nor I feel anything. I felt nothing when Ruu sang his song, I felt nithing when Arama (or what his name was again?) turned into tree, and so on. That's why I am waiting for anime from Ufotable, hoping it will do much better work explaining stuff. "Show, don't tell" as they say about cinematography. That's what I want. Also! Also! I would read every book in Genshin and every artifact description if they weren't so hard to understand, the way it was written is just terrible 😭 it's boring and I understand NOTHING! It's like just some words that doesn't make any sense together. They should've write it better way so people would actually want to read it...

Yh Dragonspine was introduced with Albedos banner so it would have always been there for you but it was pretty much stock mountains past the Paimon barrier that you couldn't go to before that. lol.

For your information, for Hoyo Aether is the canon MC and Lumine is the canon Abyss Twin. The white element is supposed to represent their orginal powers, Aether or the good MC lost his power after he woke up, we're supposed to believe that Lumine or the Abyss twin also lost his power but after journeying the tyvet world with Dainsilef she got her power back somehow, probably through Abyssal powers.
