The Carolina Herrera cologne was one of the first bottles that I bought in the last couple years. It absolutely smells like leather. If you walk into a leather shoe store it has exact same smell. It is a nice smelling fragrance. That said I didn't get to many compliments with it like I do with the other ones.

1 Million Lucky has been nowhere to be found both at retailers and on discounters for several years now, in Italy. I don't know about the rest of Europe, but the fact that US reviewers keep on talking about it makes me think that in the States you're running on big stocks that were accumulated before it was discontinued. Lucky is still present on Rabanne's website, but there are no purchase option and all links to external retailers lead to the same result: item unavailable. I don't even know why they keep it on their website.

Aoud Lemon Mint and the Intense Red Tobacco are great fragrances, just dont use more than two sprays no matter the climate. Akin to those, I got the new Hawas Black a week ago. For fragrances that dont last a full day or longer, I value the opening a lot much. But if the thing lasts a full day on skin and multiple days on clothes, so I give the harsh opening "hour" a pass if the drydown makes up for it all the more. Its more Haccivat than Aventus, one spray can be considered office safe. More than two and you'd have to be working as a lumberjack to get away with it.

Lemon Mint Oud never projected well for me or lasted long. Red Tobacco does have a terrible opening, but the dry down is amazing, projects amazing and lasts forever. I have been wanting to test the Intense version ever since I saw it.

Talking about some of the leather scents/notes, it reminds me - I really like when I use the soap Duke Cannon Leaf & Leather(I tried a bottle of body wash from a TJ Maxx and can only find the bar soap now). I absolutely love the sweet & rich but masculine tobacco & deep leather scents during the lather & about 10 minutes out of the shower. Has anyone ever used it? They have a "solid" cologne of it that I haven't tried & don't really want to. people say it like rubbing chapstick on and has no projection. I need to know what quality cologne is out there that has great projection & longevity that would be in this same family & also appealing to others that wont break the bank. I almost want to send Ash a bar of soap to narrow down my search. I've read reddit posts where people want to know the same thing but I still need answers.

There's some guys I work with that are not into fragrances. Everything I've worn from One Million Lucky, Coral Fantasy, Khamrah Qahwa, and Scandal, they've said it either smells like Axe or shower gel or deodorant.
