@tallyballYT I originally thought it was a genuine apology, but due to this and the "morally grey" thing it seems more like a "sorry I got caught" situation. Though they never uploaded anything bad, it deeply concerns me that they not only have the ability do this but also can make AI images and voice that imitates Joe, and have access to passwords, phone numbers, personal information, and whatsapp photos. Though they claim not to have malicious intent, the fact that they have this information is concerning and can easily be used against Joe and others. Even if its not them, if someone else somehow finds this information it could put Joe and the other members at serious risk. I truly hope that the Tally Hall members are able to have better security and keep themselves safe and I hope people leave Joe alone. Anyway thanks for sharing this information!!!

People were doxxed, their private info was posted and their photos. They claimed it was for college research, but there's better communities, it was completely without consent, and the doxxed users were minors. They made people trust them... They claimed that their partners in the project might not be as merciful as they were...

They have access to private photos of these guys and know how to get into their various accounts. If they can find this it means someone with nefarious intentions can. This was the worst year to get into Tally Hall by far. The Joe Hawley doc(s), the whole hacking thing, I wanted to just block it out because it scared me. Something that I hyperfixated on and loved to death is now something that’s turning into hell. And unfortunately my brain decided to lock onto Joe Hawley being my favorite member. I don’t support him in any way shape or form but the fact that people are doing this and not leaving him alone is insane. People are almost craving his attention and trying to get him to lash out, but at the same time it’s good if he doesn’t have internet access either. The whole Tally Hall debacle crushed me when I found out they might not come back either. I wasn’t alive during their big success, but I wish I was. This band-their songs, associated projects, members, friends in the community-mean a lot to me. And to only be able to watch from the sidelines and do nothing breaks my heart, truly. Sorry for the rant

interesting i honestly thought joe did upload the songs though i did notice that the songs had weirdly inconsistent quality from what i remembered i was listening on youtube and thought that the quality of aristotle's denial was a little off, so i tested on spotify (where compression is less of an issue) and it sounded the same aristotle's denial is a particular song that i have listened to many times in uncompressed form in an effort to study the mastering, which i previously thought was really impressive the reuploads sounded like they'd been through heavy mp3 compression in comparison to what i was used to, they sounded too bright and as if they'd had their bitrate set wrong also it sounded like the start was slightly cut off

All this feels like a feverdream. And the moment when I suggested Miracle musical to my English teacher to listen to on Spotify i didn't know the songs were taken down/privated on yt music.
