@danielstephens1185Ай бұрын
He keeps dropping! Uh to address your request, check the channel. He does have a video explaining how he does it. Quick explanation is take the lowest note you can sing loudly, hold it, and while holding it, relax your stomach muscles. The note should drop lower.
@nathanwahl922424 күн бұрын
Same thing I was thinking. After warmup I can get an audible G1, but nothing fortissimo until about a B1 or so. Sometimes a sub E1 or even a D1 will pop out loudly, but I cannot figure out how to do it consistently.
@karenponchak530423 күн бұрын
Ironically, in the recordings, some tracks (usually background vocals) are doubled. I do believe the lead is not doubled.... mainly because I've heard him (as a patron) in chats literally just randomly drop a sub, or two, or three....and they are audible even when he's three feet or so from the microphone.
His voice resonates from the deepest pits of moria, and booms from the heavens at the same time

Repeatedly you take repetitious (ahem, deadly boring) songs and transform them into a thing of beauty. Your ability to do this is magic, and the only form of repetition I welcome. Thank you for another gorgeous arrangement.

Not going to lie, if this was playing from a far off distance and I heard it , I'd be led away walking towards the sound like the children with the pide piper.

Geoff, Geoff, Geoff... your vocal movement on the word "to" in the first "to young and old" was the first of many "WAIT! What was that?!?!" moments! I struggle to listen all the way thru because I catch something new and interesting each time I play it. I cannot imagine the amount of blood, sweat, and tears you put into your craft, and we are all sooo grateful! I don't consider your songs to be "covers" anymore. You make them your own! They are Castellucci originals, somebody else just happened to write the lyrics. Vocals, arrangements, videos... you are an artist in the truest sense of the word. Thanks for making so many of us better musicians! Merry Christmas!🎄❤

I think there are several people now who refer to his 'covers' as 'upgrades'.

Holy freaking crap! How low can he go? Those notes at about 1:40! What the actual….? That’s insane! How do you sustain the length, the depth, the volume? In-freaking-credible!

Ok, this is officially the most surprising version of this song I've ever heard. Amazing voice!!!

Wow! Love this! As a soprano in a philharmonic chorus, I always loved singing next to a bass/baritone! Geoff has tremendous depth & fullness… spine tingling!

Sir I was expecting one thing coming into this song. About 40 secs in I realized it had gone in a COMPLETELY different direction and I was running for my headphones. Seriously Geoff you are so special. To spend a day or even and hour in your head would be spectacular

A Christmas song, actually a Ukrainian New Year song, has often been interpreted and sung. But this wonderful bass version lets me hear this song in a completely new way. And since I heard it for the first time on patreon, I've been humming it all day.

Anyone else absolutely love how the sounds of the fire crackling didn't immediately cut out when he started singing?

I've watched this I don't know how many times, and watched several reactors. No one mentions that sweet vocal fry at 0:57. It's amazing. Also it took several times through to realize that the melody is playing in the orchestration behind those epic parts at 1:40 and 3:14. That break right before 3:14 is a precursor to shock and awe. This arrangement is the best thing that has happened in the history of arrangements. It's impossible not to get carried away in the vocals and not realize until after many listenings just how much is there. Brilliant, Geoff!

MAJESTIC! Ding dong, ding dong, ding DOOOOOOONG! This is not how I imagined the sound of little "sweet silver bells" but I think this was the shake our world needed to become a better place and I love it!!! Thank you for that, sir! Merry Christ MAAAAAS to you!

It's Christmas time. Imagine a knock on your door. It's a single Christmas caroler who's upholding an old tradition--singing for others at the holidays. You open the door and the caroler smiles; it's Geoff Castellucci. He sings Carol of the Bells. You are transfixed. Christmas will never be the same for you--or anyone else who hears his version of Carol of the Bells. God bless us, everyone--and especially Geoff!

Unbelievably there are singers who can sing lower, but none of them have that beautiful tone that he has. Somebody described it as honey poured over thunder. But I have to admit I love his higher range as well.
