Jayant speaks the truth. I have been to India on several occasions and just returned from several weeks in China. The differences between the 2 countries are exactly as he has described. It's as if you were visiting 2 different planets. The level of poverty, disorder, filth, pollution and lack of dependable infrasctructure is breathtaking in India. China in contradistinction, continues to be astounding. Infrastructure, organization, overall order and improving environment due to adoption of EV vehicles are amazing. It is perplexing when one hears that the US and the West continues to claim that India is the next China, which they also claim is in rapid decline. I question whether or not these parties have actually spent time in either of these countries. There is a strong desire to witness the failure of China. In the West's dreams!

In truth, it is all rubbish. His perspective is so skewed. He only knows one or two things about each topic and does not know most of it and keeps blabbering. He only knows, 1% or 2% of the things. Even in regards to Nepal, it would take a long time to explain its relation with India and here the guy gives one or two sweeping statements and it is done. In everything, he just gives 1 or 2 generalized statements and extrapolates it to the rest of India. There are thousands of bridges being built in India and you just showed one clip where it fell down, it happens in construction, and you say this is how they build bridges in India. i can show you clips of new construction falling down in China too. Why does he keep coming to India if it is so bad? Living here in India, we can see a huge change taking place.

@@geopoliticaltrends I live in India and it is not the reality. May be 10% true. How can you form an opinion without hearing the other side. This guys is demented and his perspective highly skewed. And what are trying to do by showing one clip where the block fell. It happens in construction. It does not mean every bridge is built like that. There are thousands of bridges being built in India. Per capita GDP is not a good measure. Per capita GDP by PPP and India has the highest multiplier in that is a much more reflective index, because I can purchase much more per dollar than US.

their moon landing last yr was 3rd attempt n done with help of foreign space experts. They didnt land on the moon south pole but lied they did. Also their spacecraft went dead within hrs after landing. Why they want to lie about landing on the south pole for ? Must be for showing off as landing on south pole region has more prestige due to the higher technical difficulties of landing there than outside of it. They could fool the world in general but not foreign space agencies who would know they didnt actually landed in south pole region.. In fact ,China is the lst n only country in the world to have successfully gone to the moon south pole [2019] as well as to the far dark side of the moon [2020] Both were the lst time attempts by China too. It is technically as difficult if not more to land on far side of the moon as it is on the south pole. Moreover , China unmanned moon mission to the south pole was a 2 way return journey and could collect hundreds tons of soil back to earth for research. India unmanned moon mission was only made for one way journey

Forget it. India will remained India. It was a 32 Kingdom subcontinent with 470 regions, districts ruled by Maharajah, Kings, etc with more 200 spoken and written languages. India is in fact a fragmented nation today. Created by Mahatma Gandhi as a loosely bind union agreement at the last minute with a sworn promise for them to depart if they wished to in order to gain independence. Today Indian Government openly reneged on this agreement and even introduced bills to alter the signed agreement e.g. Kashmir. Many states are crying for separation today e.g. Manipur, Khalistani, Nagaland, Bodoland, etc. You can denied history but we are not Indians and we know the real truth. We also know India fabricated her economy. Singapore late PM Lee KY was the first to speak on this. A 32 kingdom subcontinent linked by the British built Indian Railway.

India proactively treats China as an enemy instead of cooperating to develop the economy and improve the lives of the Indian people. Frankly, I think this is a real strategic mistake. Politicians deliberately create enemies for electoral purposes. This is a very sad thing. India needs to develop its economy now. There is no real benefit to be gained by showing off and being provocative. It will only breed more hatred. It is a pity that there are too few calm Indians and too few Indians who stay awake. This is the scary thing about the media. It will change your perception and make you lack the ability to think independently.

Indians are not known for taking initiatives to create a better society and country. However the examples of USA and UK show that if provided a well governed country Indians can do better as in the West Indians are known for their contribution to those countries. So may be in India we need a political party which promises and work towards restoring real glory to ordinary Indians by doing away with this colonial system we have in place today.

I have said many times before that India is about 10-20 years behind China in many fields. The Indian political system and the social system are very corrupted and disorganized. Sadly, the corruption starts from a taxi driver to a Tea Salesman(Modi). The idea of calling India a Superpower is nothing but Modi's tea cup reading skills. David's political vlogs are as always very insightful. I thoroughly enjoy absorbing knowledge. Regarding today's guest speaker Jayant Bhandari. Hats off to Jayant. But first let me correct one statement. Nepal was a Hindu kingdom before. But today it's a secular republic. I have never ever met a Muslim individual who has the moral courage to speak weaknesses of Islam even if its truth. Like wise, I have never met an Indian person who has the moral courage to admit India's flaws even if it's truth. And today, when I saw Jayant speaking coolly, rationally and with powerful reasoning; delayering the weaknesses and hypocrisies of Indian nation and society, I was left speechless. Hats off to Jayant, this guy loves India, his ancestral land. But that does not stop him from admitting and speaking with so much moral conviction and courage, the weaknesses and challenges to India today. An intellectual masterpiece from Jayant.

India and the United States officially fully agree with China's territorial claims, which is the most basic treaty for the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and the United States and China, and is written in the document on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. To judge the real India, go to the slums of Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, etc. Go to villages like Gangnauli and talk to the common people. Majority of Indians are only obsessed with religion which is the only reason they vote for Modi because modi successfully keeps them in a smokescreen that says “Hindus are in danger from Muslims”, India as we all know is a civilization state like China but sadly the citizens are focussed more on fantasizing the civilization and are aroused by the past glory rather than focussing on the real world issues like economic growth, employment, infrastructure etc unlike China. The situation isn’t going to change until the party that liberalized the Indian economy back in the 90s come back in power and handle the mess Modi has created. Harsh truth for the Indian nationalists but it is what it is! I myself fell for this trap of false economical glory and came back to India to start a business but sadly am planning my return to the west as their is no scope of survival of any business in India which is now owned by a few oligarchs fully or partially. And these oligarchs are close friends with Modi.

And also does doesn't give big ego boost and takes time to uplift the masses. So better route they have found is to project this fake image of becoming a superpower and demanding UNSC seat. If there is any expansion of UNSC the most suitable candidates may be Brazil (South America), South Africa and Egypt (Africa) and Indonesia (Asia and Asia-Pacific). Best would be to make economic criteria to qualify for membership so that all those wanting the UNSC seat first work for the betterment of their masses like a country with at least 10,000 dollars per capita GDP should be considered for membership.

1:10:54-58 I remember several weeks ago in YT video about (by then) the upcoming presidential election in Indonesia, there is one Indian guy asked in the comment "whom among the three candidates is the friendliest towards India". Someone replied "none of them talked about India" and he was quite offended 😂

Yes, their PR people probably copied China's rocket photo and posted it as their own. The "Indian" rocket still had the Chinese flag on it. Hilarious. @nanyanguo1

believe they did it for 2 reasons . The design of their spacecraft looked primitive and moreover it went dead shortly after landing . So they wouldnt have any decent pictures of their landing craft to show.

Dr. David Oualaalou, we need to have Pravin Sawhney, Editor of Force Magazine, back on the show . You had a riveting discussion some months ago on " India's strategic decisions and its economic outlook" . We need a ' Part 2' and frequent ' updates' ( schedules permitting ) . Great shows as always. Learning so much from your analysis. Thank You from England.

Modi will most likely win re-election. The general mood seems to be that the Hindu nationalism that has overtaken India is firmly entrenched.
