What's amazing is that Carlin just barely made it to the age of modern cellphones (having died in 2008, and the iPhone came out mid 2007), but the message of the technology he was used to seeing is able to break through even to today's culture. Camcorders = today everyone uses their smartphones to record video on the street or at an event, etc. One hour photo finishing = thanks to high quality photos from phones, you can see your photos immediately (good and bad - good, in that you can retake the photo immediately if it was a bad shot; bad, if all you want to do is look at your photos all the time and not recall how good of a time you actually had.) In its own way, having the photos or video to look back on *years* later, can be good, because memory does tend to fade, but he makes a good point that you shouldn't need to look at this stuff immediately after coming home, unless you're showing it to friends. Great reaction as always :)

Yeah his take on politicians is sadly accurate. Anyone running for office that got up and said, "we have a lot of problems in this country and we're all going to have to step up and put aside our division and hate and come together and work harder to be better and make the country better for everyone" - that person isn't gonna get any votes, but the person who stands up and says "nothing is your fault, want some free stuff?" - that person gets all the votes. That's more about the mindset and desires of people rather than the politicians themselves.

George Carlin was Nostrodamis. Years before today's world he would talk about things that relates today.. He predicted the future as we know it

Too bad he didn't get to see the obsession with cell phones that's taken over the country. People pay a fortune to go to a concert and they watch it through the damn phone, so they can record it. They don't get involved in the experience of watching the performer. I'd love to hear his take on that .

George Carlin was the epitome of the truth! 😂😂😂😂. He will forever be my guy. One of the most funniest comedians to ever do it!

George is my Boy. I saw him live in 1982 when I was 14. Front row, theater in-the-round, so everyone saw me when I fell out of my chair laughing........

George was great for making people think. As more of the younger generations find him, listen to him and think about what he is saying, how it makes sense - they'll realize we are not all that different and that it is our government and self-righteous people that are dividing us. Take care!
