This is not a judgement or a prophecy but rather should be discussion. Carlin wasn't a scientist but a social critic only really criticises the social direction of the environmental protection movement. The disgust is directed at individuals who are hypocritical in their behavior. Leonardo DiCaprio is a prime example. He takes yachts and private planes himself but comes of as the greatest environmentalist there is.

If they didn’t use that platform to “spread the message” they wouldn’t have their jobs! And before you jump in with your - “but nobody is making them say those things at gunpoint” yes they do! Yeah, I see what you mean. But when he mentioned a virus, he was talking about HIV/AIDS. Totally different than covid.....if that was what you were talking about. At the end of the day, neither of these viruses were enough to take an actual toll on humans. We are still 7.5 billion strong. Earth will eventually get rid of us though. No doubt.
