Day turned black, sky ripped apart Rained for a year 'til it dampened my heart Cracks and leaks The floorboards caught rot About to go down I had almost forgot. All I got to do is to love you All I got to be is, be happy All it's got to take is some warmth to make it Blow Away, Blow Away, Blow Away. Sky cleared up, day turned to bright Closing both eyes now the head filled with light Hard to remember what a state I was in Instant amnesia Yang to the Yin. All I got to do is to love you All I got to be is, be happy All it's got to take is some warmth to make it Blow Away, Blow Away, Blow Away. Wind blew in, cloud was dispersed Rainbows appearing, the pressures were burst Breezes a-singing, now feeling good The moment had passed Like I knew that it should. All I got to do is to love you All I got to be is, be happy All it's got to take is some warmth to make it Blow Away, Blow Away, Blow Away.

@@kroakie4I love The Traveling Wilburys, and totally agree with you. I just want to point out that the number of them was originally five ; Roy Orbison appeared on the first Traveling Wilbury album, and was highlighted on songs like "Handle with Care" and "End of the Line" (he sadly died not long after recording that first album, and was already gone when the music video for "End of the Line" was filmed; there's a touching moment in the video when his voice is heard with his guitar by an empty rocking chair.) Jim Keltner is another member of the band who I feel deserves more recognition ; he's the drummer, and his drumming on "She's My Baby" is partly what makes it my favourite Wilbury song. Apparently, he was offered the chance to be an "official" Wilbury along with the others, but humbly declined the offer.

George Harrison was my favorite of the Beatles never really liked the other three. 63 years old now, and I still love his music.

It would be hard for me to pick which of George's songs was my absolute favorite but this one would be on the shortlist. Always turn to this song when a rough patch is in progress.

George was a mellow guy! His music was very mellow! And i smoke Mellow Yellow cigarettes American Spirit! The same kind of cigarettes Ronnie Wood smokes! No chemicals, just water and tobacco!

The smile on his face... right into his soul....which he wore on his sleeve. George's fragility was his beauty ❤

The most understated. most talented of the four, aside from his deep spirituality he never took himself very seriously. I am fortunate to have lived during his time.

I love the contrast between the serious-looking parts recorded against the sky, and the other sections of him dancing around as though in a schmaltzy ballroom, or sitting inside of a giant ceramic duck and giving a thumbs up. Really hits home the message of the constant transition between the highs and lows in life, and how, if you just hold on through the tough times, you may find you can even joke about them later, or at least not take them as seriously. Very Harrisonian sense of humour.

What a talented guy! One of the greatest guitar players and creative artist ever! Especially when he came into his own after the Beatles broke up. He kept on reinventing himself as a solo artist and also in the Traveling Willburys and so much more. Miss him. Rest in peace George.

George was so smart and talented. His lyrics are breathtaking, along with his sweet voice. His music has definitely changed my view on how i see many things. I wish I could thank him for that. This video is obviously more lighthearted but i still love it, he was enjoying himself !!

I listened to his music a lot when I was in the middle of my parents divorcing. It was very hard for an autistic 11 year old to go through that. This song was one of my favorites. I kinda felt like George gave me hope and that things will turn out fine. Now 28, things are better :)

Me too, I listened to his music during a difficult time when my parents were divorcing. This was one of my favorite songs. Every time I'd listen to him I'd get a feeling of hope. Which I'm sure that's how you felt, too. :)

It's strange you said that. I barely remember this song at all and yet it creates powerful associations with my early childhood in the late 1970s. I think I must remember hearing it on the radio. Same with Kate Bush's Them Heavy People (and I never really discovered her until college in the 1990s) and Eagles' New Kid in Town.
