Sure! But to be honest, I would never be able to go through all the hard-learning and ascetic life you have to go through if you really want to experiment that stuff.. consciousness.. even though you can feel like sometimes, being always in that state of mind isn't possible for the common.I wonder how he managed to do it so young.. !! but in fact he said it: you have to be obsessed by death..

More and more people are tuning into your wavelength, George. Consciousness is key, and meditation is the way to explore it, from within, thus enabling us to "raise the quality of our consciousness." In this way, as George says, we can learn to experience bliss - and then share it with others. At the heart, this is what life is all about - raising the quality of our consciousness. Cheers.

They are asserting specific ideas but seemingly based on nothing more than wishful thinking. I have as much info as the next person and based on our scientific understanding of how we came to be, what we're made of and our similarities with many other animals, I can infer that we weren't designed by someone and put here to 'love'. It's also demonstrable by looking at the examples of humans killing humans in their billions throughout history. George Harrison was by far the most complex Beatle, I hope he's now in the ultimate happy place he was obviously looking for his whole life....
@jayhillman5243
@jayhillman5243 8 жыл бұрын
There are many things that strike me about George Harrison. One is that, he was extremely thoughtful. He has always come across as a person who wants to help people as much as he can by talking about his own experiences. He's not trying to sell you anything, he's telling you his experience and what you do with it, is what you do with it. The second thing that strikes me is that he's had a very fortunate existence from the time he was born. He came from a loving family, became part of an amazing musical experience, and created a loving family of his own. However, the Beatles, as successful as they were didn't fulfill his spiritual self, nor did his family. He found his spiritualism with the help of his friend. After reading George's book, I realized that he was really searching for answers to life. Why was he here? Where was he going? I think we all have these questions. George gave us some very intellectual insights on this subject in this interview. I'm thankful for this, as it's helped me look at life differently. Thank you George. Namaste

Goooood man, George. Way ahead of the masses in his awareness. MOST are immersed in mass media... thousands of tv stations, internet, always on their cellphones either txting or talking or watching something... People have forgotten how to "go within" how to just BE... and be in tune with nature.... Hell, most people don't even THINK about nature. George was really wise and his songs display that. Great hearing him talk about the "more" of what life is really about. Truth is TRUTH... and he said it right.

This man talks so much sense, its just that not everyone is the same! So as for the “knock on the door and you get the answer” is not always the way you get answers! Some people live beneath so many lies, they have no idea of how to speak the truth! Also sheep follow sheep! Its only when they stray off from the flock will they ever realise theres more to life than being herded, sheared, & locked in the pen of sheep life, & being controlled by the shepherd! But then again, theres always those wolves (even those in sheep’s clothing) who want to rip you apart! This world needs an absolute full mega do over! But for people to have their own mind! ..well ..that says it all! George is BRILL!! 🥰

However the only thing I would say that George didn't mention is that ordinary everyday people are running around and not thinking along the same lines and about these concepts and realisations because they have to work to make ends meet to survive. Then again we could all have worked hard to become successful famous musicians, but didn't, whereas George did and he used his fame to spread the message to us all.

On a slightly different & yet somehow spiritually connected theme.. Has everyone notice but me - until today [!!] - The initials of the Harrison family: [G]eorge+[O]livia+[D]hani 💕 Whether or not anyone believes in a "one God" or many "Gods" - there, in the Harrison family, they are "G.O.D" & as such are indeed the spirits within as well as without us all. How wonderful.. Thank goodness & Creation for George & Dhani & for Olivia who cemented the whole into one. ☺💕🎸🎶⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☺🎸💕

When George talks about bliss, I think I did experience that when I was a kid, laying getting a sun tan. My only focus was feeling the heat of the sun on my skin, and my mind was totally relaxed, not full of any thoughts. Total relaxation, eyes closed, no outside distractions.

George was deep with a disciple spirituality along with his wit, humor and music. He truly got it. We surely need more of that Dear George these days for we surely have lost our way in comparison. Definitey need balance.

🙌🏻 What a beautiful man , shining like a light from inside out 💞 Great interview. I wish he was still here, that's being selfish.. Be with Bliss & Love 😘 Like what he said about where have the hippies gone 🙂 ' They've raised a couple of generations of vegetarian kids by now who are more enlightened '. How right he was too! ❤ The 1 thing I realise after over 50years in this body, is that I really know nothing at all. 🙂❤ Such an Inspirational & Spiritual Soul 💞🎵 I love his song ; " Give me Love, give me Light, give me Peace on Earth, Give me Hope, to help me cope with this heavy load , give me Light, give me Love.. " 🙏🏻 My Sweet Lord , " I really wanna see you Lord but it takes so long my Lord , chorus - Hare Rama, Guru Devi, Hare Swari, Guru Vishnu, Krishna Krishna, Hallelujah " 💃 😘 Thanks my Sister, for taking me around all those smokey Ashrams in the '70's 💞🐱♏♌♉☯️🌹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This clarifies why The Beatles are the greatest band of all time; individually and collectively, they realized that fame, money and outer stuff were not enough - but unlike others they did not settle. ""Knock are you will find." That was the seed of their greatness.

Thank you Saint George. Amazing indeed.. What are we doing on this planet?...is the key question...in the constant play of duality when the Eternal Oneness is within us to explore. If Consciousness was the foundation of education we would have a much better world and more effective leaders.

I'm not sure I get what you mean but I'll guess you're suggesting George is closer to the 'messiah' and 'ultimate peace maker' image that people thrust upon John Lennon (to which they then got angry at him for once discovering he was actually a human being and flawed like the rest of us).
