George michael was such a beautiful, beautiful soul. Such a brilliant artist with immense God-given talent. His voice alone could bring you to tears. I adore this artist and have immense respect and admiration for his talent. He genuinely seemed like a generous and loving human being. The fact that he gave so much money away to causes, charities and strangers tells you how much he really cared.

Yeah and what he did for people on an every day basis was just breath taking. He answered a letter I wrote him back in the early 80's b4 internet. We wrote back & forth for awhile and suddenly my daughter had scoliosis so bad that it would have killed her. So, we were setting up the balance (after ins.) To pay payments and suddenly my husband had 2 men walk up to him in hospital. Said they needed our daughter's info & name & ours & they'd help pay on her bill. We'll, we never heard anything. So, worried about what we needed to pay & this was like in the 60 or 70 thousand rang or more. But, the problem was no body sent us anything. So, I call. To be told "Mam, every thing has been paid. You're fine. Just a note saying all my love & prayers. I know only one person able to do that. He had a huge heart & lots of love for his fellow man. Plus I know about him keeping up churches, helping ppl with anything & everything. He was an angel on earth. And, he always denied that he did anything.

Lovely clip. In my mind, if Anselmo had not got that horrible disease and died, I think George would still be with us today. It tortured him to the very end. In his "Red Line" interview he clearly cries when speaking about Anselmo. He was his one true love outside of his family.

I read that he used to go and visit Anselmo's mother after Anselmo died and when she was interviewed after George died, she said he used to treat her like she was his mother in law and that he loved Anselmo so much that she believed that if her son had lived, he and George would have been together still - It made me sob. His visiting her always up until he himself died and how she loved George. Too much pain for such a beautiful sensitive soul.

George would have made a brilliant show even if he didn't do all that rehearsal. He is the greatest anyway, they don't, and no one ever will be able to sing like him ever again

An incredibly difficult time for George all round. It speaks volumes for him as a man that he was able to get up on stage and do such a fantastic performance and tribute to Freddie. Both George's partner and Freddie would have been nothing other than immensely proud of him that day. RIP Freddie Mercury, RIP George Michael.

Time - 13 years or more or less - doesn't matter when you have lost someone you loved so, it's not surprising he got emotional talking about this as he did. Just always wanted to give him a hug when spoke about Anselmo. He's so real and honest about his pain, fears, insecurities and joys - just honest and so lovely as a human being.
