The villain's name is "Jerry Mander"? OUCH! For those of you who don't know, "gerrymandering" involves the dividing of a state or county into election districts so as to give one political party a majority in many districts while concentrating the voting strength of the other party into as few districts as possible. It's named for Elbridge Gerry of MA, whose party redistribute the state in 1812, and "salamander", because the map of Essex County, MA, supposedly resembled one after the redistricting. 🦎
