However, she was shouting in anger at her parents when they tried to talk to her. And Missy says she never gets the attention. At least her parents tried to console her. My parents would just ignore me and let me weep.

Mary should have died or been annexed. She is the reason why Sheldon has little to no social skills. Not cause he maybbe autistic or because he may have aspurgers. YS showed us Mary is the reason Sheldon missed a lot of milestones of growing up. George never claimed to be good or smart, he was just doing his best. Mary acted like she was Mary Magdeline but was actually a Judas. I wish they would retcon this and make George Sr. alive but distant or have a new family. But they used the new better family for Howards Dad.

This is what I don't get about 'Young Sheldon.'. It'd be one thing if he suddenly keeled over as 'Big Bang' implies but here, he'd already had two heart scares that were seemingly swept under the carpet, with no attempt from either George himself or Mary to make him lose some weight, change his diet, cut down on the beer, take some exercise and so on. Even if he fell off the wagon, you'd think the show would have him make _some_ effort, particularly with a wife and three kids depending on him. I never understood how they just breezed past it all.
