GSP has been practicing back kimura since 2003 when he attempted it on Matt Hughes and Hughes use the traditional counterpart kimura straight to an arm bar and tap. Ever since then GSP has tried perfecting the technique as only GSP would. Same goes with the arm bar after he locked it in on Hardy but didn’t get the tap because the thumb was rotated the wrong way. Immediately we saw GSP backstage working on the arm bar post fight with John Danaher. GOAT 🐐

It would be interesting to see GSP in one of the modern jiu-jitsu venues, such as Quintet or Submission Underground, where we can see him use his wrestling as well. I'm sure his time with John Danaher and Firas would show itself.

I'd love to see that too. Im sure he would do very well. If he was in this years ADCC 88KG Bracket i think he could have got to the finals with his wrestling

Braulio was rolling with ease but he looked absolutely knackered, maybe the wrestling gassed him out. Fair play to gsp for tapping Braulio, very rare thing especially for a mma fighter

Having seen Braulio here at his gym in Birmingham, he spars with 6-10 different students. So he's probably been rolling for a couple of hours before sparing with GSP.

GSP, the Bruce Lee of mma....just like Bruce, he never stops training, a freak of nature. A perfect example of what a true martial artist should be. Just like Bruce Lee, Ali, M-Jordan....there will be no other...GSP...the only true GOAT

Amazing that GSP is at Braulio's level grappling; but lets not forget the high level that GSP is able to strike and kick too. So here he is limiting himself to just grappling and hanging with one of the world's best, but with a grappler who cant even get in the ring with Georges in these other genres. Just wow.
