Try Jimmy Buffett, George Strait and others singing Hey Good Lookin a tribute of sorts to Hank Williams,Sr. This song with Alan was George’s last stop on his last organized tour. Drew the biggest indoor attendance record I think about 107,000 folks. The roster of guest performers was amazing and he did 2 songs with each. Even did a duet with is son Bubba.

Yes, Nashville murdered country music. I won't listen to all the new crap they bring out now. Love hearing the steel guitar and the fiddle players. If it is not in the new country music, it's not country. I came from Germany over here with my American husband. He introduced me to country music. First song I heard was He stopped loving her today. I didn't understand the words, but George Jones voice touched me deeply. He was my all time favorite. Now I add George Strait and Alan Jackson to my favorite list. Country music will never die. We have so many fans. Keep pure country going. I'm a life long listener of country. That is ever sense I came to America. Long live country western music. 💗😘🤩.

This is George Strait's last show before he retired. You need to see some of the other great singers that came up on stage with George Strait to sing with him one last time. Wait a minute I did forget that he is still doing concerts in Nashville Tennessee but he isn't traveling anymore for concerts.

Indoor know how to put a link on a comment but you should watch the entire Cowboy Rides Away CMT special. It was George Strait’s last tour before retiring. All the great of country music come on stage and sing with him. It’s just freaking amazing. George Strait still does shows but he doesn’t do massive tours anymore. He’s a real cowboy though. He grew up ranching and he always sings at the PBR finals (bull riding) in Las Vegas every November.

In 1999 on the acma awards they cut george jones song short to make more time for other stuff which is a no no. George jones is country music there pretty much from the start. Alan jackson got pissed and used part of his time to finish jones' song. This caused this song to be written and in 2000 the next year they sang this song at the acma show. This song was written because what they did to the legend george jones the year before
