His songs were all from the heart and soul and George Strait, with a genuine respect and high admiration for Traditional Country Music did this song exactly the way it should be done. Mel Street would sure be proud to hear that. Many artists of Traditional Country Music have recorded Mel Street's songs and very few, if any, have messed them up.
