George’s son was attending Brown University in Providence Rhode Island. On my way to work I stopped to get a coffee in a small shop there. As I walked in I saw George sitting in a booth with another person. I wanted to go over and thank him for the great music and memories. I restrained myself to respect his privacy but on my way out our eyes locked George smiled and nodded to me. It’s a cherished memory that I will never forget. George Harrison was a beautiful spirit and a great musician. It’s sad that he suffered so much being attacked by a madman while recovering from cancer. Love you John and George RIP!

I just turned 50 in 2023. It amazes me how much I took for granted when it comes to music I heard so long ago. The Beatles will always be a cornerstone for my tastes without any outside influence other than the member's solo 1970's and '80's) output.

This is a Beatles song in a way since both Paul and Ringo play on the record. Every time I hear it, I’m reminded of my old friends and bandmates. We formed a band called 'Sticky Flowers.' The name came about after some glue accidentally ended up on my copy of Paul McCartney's 'Flowers in the Dirt,' and we couldn’t think of a better name. These amazing guys-Marc on bass, Chris on drums, and Carl on lead guitar-all passed away in their 30s, in such tragic and unnecessary ways. Rest in peace, my brothers

I remember listening to the Beatles as a little girl my sister was 8 yrs older than me kissing 💋 the television 📺 and my father a WWII Veteran looking at her like she was nuts..🤣🤣🤣👍🇺🇸 Then yrs down the road I was 16 listening to Led Zeppelin getting ready with 25 of my neighbors to take the subway down to Madison Square Garden to see them play it was OUTRAGEOUS and that band really made my father's hair stand my sister and brother were out of the house... I would BLAST the song it's been a long time since I Rock and Roll ... John Bonham kick ass on that song...I Love Led Zeppelin ❤ my father hated that band.... I sit down now and think back and laugh...I also say I'm 63 I think back and cry 😢my mom and dad were from the big Band era my brother loved Santana how could you not my sister was a beetle fan and then the Rolling Stones ..... Zeppelin was always my favorite band and The Who /Pink Floyd /Elton John/ Phil Collins/ David Bowie/ Rod Stewart/ Queen/ so many many great artists it was all good but when I'm cleaning around my home I start listening to all the good music and then I break down crying like a little baby and then I say will all meet up one day in God's Kingdom amen I was living down in Florida when I heard about John Lennon death it's really disgraceful what goes on in life I'm quiet person and I get along with just about everyone and I stay out of trouble and just try to love thy neighbor but this world is getting crazier by the minute so it's just me and my and my 4 chihuahuas & 3 friends but my love goes out to all those artist who made those years happy for all of us... God bless you all live on hope we all meet up one day 🤗🐶🐶🐶🐶❤🙏❤🙏🏿🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Right Ringo Peace Not War ✌🏿❤✌🏼 🦋⚘🦋⚘🦋⚘🦋⚘🦋⚘🦋⚘🦋⚘🦋⚘

I'm shouting all about love While they treated you like a dog When you were the one who had made it so clear All those years ago I'm talking all about how to give They don't act with much honesty But you point the way to the truth when you say All you need is love Living with good and bad I always looked up to you Now we're left cold and sad By someone the devil's best friend Someone who offended all We're living in a bad dream They've forgotten all about mankind And you were the one they backed up to the wall All those years ago You were the one who imagined it all All those years ago All those years ago All those years ago Deep in the darkest night I send out a prayer to you Now in the world of light Where the spirit free of lies And all else that we despised They've forgotten all about God He's the only reason we exist Yet you were the one that they said was so weird All those years ago You said it all though not many had ears All those years ago You had control of our smiles and our tears All those years ago All those years ago All those years ago All those years ago
