The US economy cannot survive without continuous credit and debt creation. The FED will print more money and the average American will go just that much further in debt. Meanwhile, foreigners lust for the greenbook. Their economies are in worse condition than the US... if that's even possible. Someone is going to be left holding the bag...

They do say gold will crash in a liquidity crunch However, many of those holding precious metals are preparing for such an event. So they are unlikely to be forced sellers. The paper market would tank and hopefully collapse.

I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an investment coach the power of decision-making. Given their specialized expertise and education, as well as the fact that each and every one of their skills is centered on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable developments, it is practically impossible for them to underperform. I have made over 1.5 million dollars working with an investment coach for more than two years.

Straight up! investing with the help of an advisor set me up for life, retired as a millionaire at 55. I worked hard everyday as a teacher for 32 years, and my salary was over 100k annually. However, if it wasn't for covid-19 lockdown, I wouldn't have supplemented my income with stocks and alternative investments.

The only American who won't acknowledge this Administration's failed economic policies is Joe Biden. "Shrink-flation' is the least of our worries compared to rising rents and stagnant wages, but it is an undeniable indicator of how bad our inflation has gotten. I have $100k that i like to invest in a non-retirement account, any advice on that?

I would avoid index funds, mutual funds, and specific stocks for the time being. Right now, the best option is a fixed income of five percent. Put money aside for the times when the market really starts to bounce back.

I wholeheartedly concur; I'm 60 years old, just retired, and have about $1,250,000 in non-retirement assets. Compared to the whole value of my portfolio during the last three years, I have no debt and a very little amount of money in retirement accounts. To be completely honest, the information provided by invt-advisors can only be ignored but not neglected. Simply undertake research to choose a trustworthy one.

I understand now why Dave will not say anything bad about Trump because he is also in the same tax bracket as Trump. Help us understand if Gold and Saach just stated that the economy will boom if VP Harris gets elected and in that same statement Gold and Saach said the economy will take a major hit downward if Trump is reelected and throw in the tariffs. The blue collar and white collar workers lost jobs, benefits and they hurt under the last administration, and the facts, only the facts, not my emotions, just the true facts that are tracked by the same organizations that have tracked ever presidential administration over the years. All the facts show that the economy does so much for blue and white collar, businesses, and unions under Democratic Presidential leadership. These are facts again, not emotions, because you can find all the facts from the government archives.

I didn't become financially independent until I was in my late 40's, and I'm still in my 40's. In addition to having purchased my second home and earning money on a monthly basis through passive income, I've also achieved three out of five goals. I just hope this inspires someone to realize that it doesn't matter if you don't have any of these things yet, you can start today no matter your age. Change your future by investing! I made a rather big decision by investing in the financial market..

The problem is that Dave's advice doesn't apply to low income households and that number is getting higher and higher. I've heard him take those calls and all he can say is they need to get their income up. I'm debt free but will be stuck saving for a house for the rest of my life. The middle class is being destroyed by money printing regardless of who's president.

It may be selfish to get out of debt. But, each and every man who is out of debt is a blessing to this country. Each and every man who lives his life as a good steward with his finances is a blessing to his country. Mainly because of the stability he brings to his community. And this jealous world who wants to take the rich mans wealth and distribute it to the poor (actually to themselves) will destroy the world.

Hey most Americans have healthcare insurance. It’s just shitty bc the insurance can deny you for stupid reasons. And sue to regulatory capture we have insulin monopolies. And also when US purchases insulin from Germany it subsidizes the Germany healthcare system. It’s fascinating stuff - I’m free market all the way. The French single payer system is better than NHS UK and Canada however. So if I had to choose socialized healthcare I’d go France all the way. At least you still have options but I wonder if the good health outcomes there are more so due to lifestyle I studied abroad in France and people are healthy compared to the US. But it doesn’t help our government subsidizes JUNK FOOD. Yes! I think our healthcare wouldn’t cost so much if people were healthier. It doesn’t make sense that junk food is cheaper all thanks to the taxpayer.

What amazes me is that I don’t think they’re teaching personal finance in schools anymore. Money is not the most important thing in life, but it helps to have some. Self control helps to keep some in your pocket, or in your bank account in case of needs. The urge to buy things is strong, but, once you have the items that you craved for and sometimes don't need, the euphoria leaves and despair sets in, especially if you buy that puts you in debt.

Maybe in your state if you live and say closer to California's cost of living versus income availability ratio, but in Mississippi the armpit of the South if you can't make it on dollars a year right now by yourself then you're either living currently any place that is just unrealistically lavish or you have some form of massive medical debts or other debts. If you're a debt-free make a 60k a year in Mississippi you're okay. Now you're not Bill Gates wealthy, but you're still going to be okay . For me living in this shit hole of a state, making 37,770 yearly at my regular job before taxes and that's without doing Uber Eats food deliveries, I pay my own way and I'm okay and I'm still slowly building savings and pumping my Roth IRA like a boss. Warning: george kamel works at the dave ramsey network. So this isn't really an interview, its more like a conference with your boss. An interview includes pushback, not just smiling and nodding like you're on a first date. Critiques of Dave Ramsey's topics in this video: 1. Dave says he likes the free market and thinks we have too much regulation. Free market is not disturbed by regulation, its disturbed by monopolies and government prioritizing corporations over people (tax breaks, lax consequences, lobbying, etc). Consumers can make the correct decision if they're given a decision, regulations protect consumers from corporate greed. If you like the free market you have to let corporations fail. 2. Cutting taxes raises revenue. That's overly simplistic. Poor people don't hoard wealth but billionaires do. This is especially funny from the multi-millionaire that tells people to eat rice and beans to save money. Thats not thinking that increases revenue. It's been like 40 consistent years of the income gap increasing with no counter balance. What used to be a pyramid that can be scaled has now become a basketball balancing on a long needle. Raising taxes for the upper class is necessary given how far the income gap has gotten. 3. The presidential candidate only controls 10% of your life.... For a rich old straight white man. Young people will be affected by the wars we get into, minorities will be affected by immigration/prisons, lgbtq could literally be erased from public spaces, & poor people will be affected by prioritizing corporations over people (honestly this one will happen with either candidate). 4. There's no country worth moving to. Americans are the only people with such a limited understanding of the world. There are plenty of places where you can enjoy the same luxuries that you have in the US. Even the third world countries have luxury hotels/condos that feel like the US. Of course, you wont have the bill of rights and other democracy oriented privileges but to say 'I like turning the light switch and getting electricity' is so ignorant. Plus, depending on who the president ends up being, a lot of these democracy privileges may not remain for long (based on their own words). ---------------- I have no critiques for Ramsey's financial advice. He's not perfect but I think he provides a good foundation for the mindset that's needed. I really wish the video would've started with the budgeting/financial mindset conversation because 27 minutes is a long wait or good advice.

Investing with an expert is the best strategy for beginners and busy investors, as most failures and losses in investment usually happen when you invest without proper guidance. I'm speaking from experience.

Wow, I'm surprised to see Fenella mentioned here as well. I didn't know she had been kind to so many people

I'd definitely vote for Dave but I also understand why he wouldn't run. I loved his comeback on the response. 🤣

Option 1: Work hard and give half of it away to taxes OR Option 2: Do nothing and get someone else's half. That's really the predicament we all face these days.

Okay, when Dave talked about him driving a nice car and old and bald....when my son was younger he loved Corvettes, whenever we would pass one he would look and once told me everyone who drives one is old and grey hair, lol. Glad he noticed and was a good talking point.

Dave is great in helping people help themselves within the system. Macroeconomics is not his strength.

I think these videos are amazing and I agree with 95%. I don't agree that unchecked capitalism/free market works. Somehow financial institutions are allowed to do poorly and not be punished. I think the reason Dave's not making as big of an impact, my guess is he would never be happy, is because there are very smart people lining politicians pockets/bending the rules to make it easier for them, and harder for Dave, for people to do what Dave preaches. Please don't stop though!!

In one breath, Dave says, "Biden Inflation" then less than 10 minutes later tells us Presidents "Don't control" the economy anymore than they control the weather. I love this channel, but this kind of stuff drives me nuts.

Dave manages to have interesting ideas anytime he strays from “debt bad spend less than you make”.

He’s like your conservative boomer father or uncle. Reminds me of my dad. George is the one that annoys me because he has no opinion of his own.

We all know which side of the isle Dave is on and sometimes his biases show through, he's human, it happens. I don't hold that against him though because I still think his financial advice is sound and pretty simple (although tedious) to follow.
