While I think Gerogia was georgeous and supertalented in this dance, I couldn't take my eyes of Giovanni. It is clear he was enjoying himself, he hit the floor and stormed it to a crescendo. He was really enjoying the thrills of his home music. Loved it.

Solene Narnio it's an italian song by Domenico modugno, the gypsy kings who come from south France but sing in Spanish covered the song while singing the verses in Spanish but keeping the chorus in Italian :)

Fabio Longhi yes it’s an Italian song, however gypsy kings were famous for the song, and whilst working at gb airways - the groups songs were played throughout Gibraltar and southern Spain. I remember walking through gib and cars would wind their windows down and gypsy kings would be playing so loud everyone got in flamenco mood!

+SCDObserver Me too (re. the humiliation), but it did spur him into better choreography. If you don't tell a new pro what is not acceptable, they won't improve and their celeb won't score high. Having said that, they don't start dancing until 30 seconds into this routine. Easier to choreograph when you're only doing 60 seconds of dance instead of 90 seconds. And I can't believe her score given that she went spectacularly wrong in the middle.

+Pixie S I'm sorry, but it wasn't a "few mistakes here and there". She lost it completely from 1:01 for about 10 seconds and had to be forcefully put back on course by Giovanni (he covered very well, but she didn't) - she locked panicked and all the lovely smiles and confidence completely disappeared. Up till then it had been a superb samba and she finally picked it up again - kudos to her for that. But it was a huge blip in a routine that was already only 60 seconds long. I'm not going to argue with the "strongest partnership, pretties partnership" part of your comment. I disagree strongly, but as there is so much of the subjective in that, there's no 'right' and 'wrong'.

+dajtoad1 It wasn't 1:01 when she "lost it completely": that would mean doing no moves, or doing them badly-a la Judy Murray. It was 1:04 when she missed his hand and was therefore unable to do the spin cleanly. And she was back into the dance properly 6 seconds later at 1:10. Then the smile returned- it didn't disappear.

+Carlos Castro I agree. There was a bit of wobbling here and there but it was _easily_ the most entertaining dance of the night. Peter Andre's charleston was very good ( I'm not a fan of his so that's hard for me to say! ), but I didn't think he had as much work to do as Georgia did here, technique wise. That looked like a very difficult routine. Loved the music too.

+Carlos Castro Yes, Anita is also good, just Georgia has this certain something. I loved her with her week 1 jive and thought she was severely undermarked :) however, I have a feeling Kellie Bright will be in the finals. Why? She was in the bottom two last week. If you have a closer look at the past few seasons, you will see, that when a good dancer is in the bottom two in week 6 or 7, they usually end up in the finals. Examples? Caroline Flack, Kimberley Walsh, Abbey Clancy

Azureecosse I felt manipulated to vote Peter on Saturday, I do think though the judges roles are driven by the executive producer and other production team members. Georgia I think has been either scored correctly or underscored. She has come into her own recently.

Thanks for sharing. This video brought me back to a time when I first saw Giovanni Pernice. It really shows how fantastic his choreography skills were. Also, if I remember correctly, Giovanni said that this was his favorite song in Italian I think, because it was from his region where he's from. Anyhow, this was such a good dance, for both of them.

Reminds me of my gb airways leaving doo. Me, Maria and Donny and debbie at the tapas restaurant in Crawley. Flamenco dancing! Lovely time!
