Oh..and yes..l am an Englishman..who’s Grandfather was captured by the 90th Light at El Alemein..he was (slightly an inverted snob..) because he was in 2nd Bn The Rifle Brigade and 90th Light being Jäger (and also light infantry) he had an affiliation with them... He was also dismayed when I told him that until the 1960’s they were NOT allowed to wear their decorations..(read German Army Uniforms 1933/45 by Brian L Davis) My Grandfathers words..not mine.. “..a hero IS a hero..no matter what Nation you fight for...and the decorations given to them at that time SHOULD be allowed to be worn...” Grandad was ALWAYS interested in Gunter Halm...who was the same age as he at Alemein..and won all grades of the Iron Cross PLUS the Ritterkreutz (presented by Rommel) for his defence at Ruweseit Ridge against far numbers of the RTR..Royal Tank Regiment..a fact that THESE men even invited him there AFTER the war for reunions due to his tenacity and bravery

Why they always play the same marches? Germany has the greatest variation of marches to offer... And why don't they wear historical German/Prussian uniforms, at least then when it's about Waterloo? Why are the brits the ones who wear the Picklehaube in this video and not the Germans?

Thats no Pickel Haube.

Its basically a show program they trained for and they change only a little bit every season. Otherwise the formations would be much harder. At other occasions they play other stuff of course.

They played the Konnigratzer Marsch and Prussian's Gloria at this event as well. You just need to find the right videos
