Yes she is. Honestly if she's not spayed I'd consider breeding her with an appropriate service dog minded male to see if we could get more pups like her. Although it could be that while she's able to do these types of things on her own. She still might not have the temperment to do it in public. Personally I always wanted to train my dog to help out & he did help me off the ground. I'd put my hands over his shoulders & hind legs to give me just a tiny bit of a push to more easily get up with my back. But nowhere near the wait that a real service dog can take when properly trained to brace. But it was just enough help.

When my mother started using a walker after knee surgery, my sister's dog Scooter would get up any time my mother got up and walked by her side until she sat back down. After my mother got a dog, she (Gigi) would walk on the other side of Mom. Then, when Mom was about to sit on the bed, the two dogs would get on the bed and each take an arm gently in their mouths and paw at her and the bed like they were helping her sit down. It was so cute to watch! After I started using a walker, the dogs would also walk on either side of me until I sat down. Some dogs are just so sweet and sensitive to the needs of their humans.

Not only is Anya an exceptional dog that helps around the house and, is a great big sister to a kitten, but she has the most gorgeous face and intelligent eyes that I've seen in a long time... She reminds me of my rescue, 'Hans'... He was a "Black Saddleback" on tan, a straight-backed (vs. the American GSDs with extremely sloped backs), "German Working Line" with a face and eyes like Anya's... Your GSD sure brings back good, and sometimes sad, memories. I sure miss that Big Boy. He's long since gone over that Rainbow Bridge, but I remember him with much fondness, and his protection abilities of me and my family (which for him, also included our three Siberian Huskies) which were impeccable... Maybe it's because I rescued him from being chained to a tree in the woods, with a plastic drum for shelter.

If you want to see an even wilder story than this one search in youtube for a video titled Heroes Among Us - Hero the Dog. A woman was speeding along a country road and went off road and wrecked badly while attempting a turn. She likely would have died in the car if not for a stray German Shepard Dog that happened to find her, pull her out of the totaled car, then drag her to the side of the road where she was found by another motorist who called for help. The dog was trained to be a service dog after that.

My central heat went out. Bought an electric "panel heater" (DeLonghi), heats a few feet by the bed. 🐈 drapes over edge right by it, 🤪 goofy poses. Also, keep clothes you'll wear tomorrow nearby under covers. Next 🌞 I drape things in turn over the heater inside out, quickly put on. In New Hampshire I just spread clothes over body under covers, and mostly dressed under covers. If it's super cold just sleep by leaving clothes spread under covers over you - a jersey, corduroy jacket, any cloth. Layers work by trapping your body heat in the air spaces between fibers and layers. Just add, radiate heat several minutes, till you're warm enough to relax / sleep. It's been lows 40 lately, 60 in house - with tights, long johns, AND sweat pants plus two 👕, a long- sleeved golf pullover, sheet, doubled fleece sheet,doubled blanket - and top of head covered, I sleep 💤 quickly. Hands - to read tablet/ phone, write, etc. - just find cheap knit or fleece gloves. Open seam at tip of touchscreen fingers. Knit cap on head - stops double digit heat loss. Our brain uses 3x more energy per pound than rest of body - burning energy produces heat. No cap, or in bed and realize cap's in wash? A hack - grab feather pillow, or bunch up any fabric object & fit around top of head. Might go online to research what you need. I had a nearly clogged artery, researched how to clear it (heart being the top c.o.d. in our country!). Found the DIY facts online, ate the things proven in studies (well. and common sense too, just we're so used to the standard American diet takes a lot of reps to get new habits installed). After 3 months of new foods, routine checkup (at regular doctor, not where they did that ECG) doctor was like big 😊. "All your labs are better! And weight down, whatever you're doing keep it up!" DIY works. This is getting long or I'd go into soluble fiber for clearing vessels, antioxidants, xeanthanin + lutein for eyes, you'll research for yourself. Sites like SciTechDaily, oh yes the "prepping" KZbin videos are FILLED with people who are giving latest study based facts, or living better with less. Less money, mobility, family, vision, you name it. I watch the fact-based guys who face our challenges with minimal alarmist clickbait. Like "city prepping", he's low-key, "provident prepper" nice traditional couple, "Alaska Prepper" solid decent family guy who uses KZbin, ad, donation money to buy food for local food bank. And a giveaway to viewers of live, Dec.2, 5 pm central. Bunch more, explore KZbin. One lively welcoming 🤗 community is viewers of "Gardener Scott". @@janetmacdonald2823 Janet, thank you for taking the time to write this for me. Here in CT, it has gotten down in the low 30s then the next day it is in the 60s. I am actually coping well. I have always liked sleeping in a cold bedroom, with a comfy comforter and blanket. Plus my cat loves to sleep on the comforter between my legs which keeps my feet extra warm. During the night I have two heaters, one in the kitchen and one in the living room. They are thermostatically controlled so if it dips below 60 in either room they will turn on, and if it reaches the temp set at. In turn, they will shut off automatically. Also. I keep them set at 60 to keep the pipes from freezing in the kitchen and the living room is set so I don't wake up to a freezing house. Luckily my house is only 950 square ft, so it is much easier to keep it from going down to freezing. I am disabled, and I am home during the days too, and keep them set at 68. I prefer to put on layers than have a room to hot.

I also just love that the moment you realized there was a baby kitten living under a dumpster the first instinct was instantly to go save it. I’ve seen many where first people hem and haw over it. The first instinct should always be to save it, you don’t have to keep whatever needs help but save it first.

I'm not able to have a dog, but German Shepherd (or "Herder" as we call it here) has always been my favorite breed. They look so tough and friendly, intelligent, and perceptive at the same time. Do your dog react to your emotional state and picks up your habit too?

When I was in elementary school I was attacked by a German Shepherd when I was on my way to the bus stop. I am now 65 and still a little shell shocked by that breed, but I would truly love to meet your angel! You and your little kitty are truly blessed. Sherry from Alabama.
