@@romz1 Come to Puerto Rico lol you can buy and drink alcohol anywhere and everywhere. You can buy all kinds of alcohol at grocery stores, gas stations, walgreens and all pharmacies, car washes, walmart super center (inside the store, not a separate liquor store like we have in the US...the stores only sell cheap wine and beer, not strong alcohol lol), And to top it of., you can see small groups of people gathered inside at some small neighborhood stores drinking, talking and having fun! lol And yes...at the car wash too 🤣

I moved from Germany to Canada when I was in kindergarten. The thing I remember most is the food. Still to this day when I see powdered banana milk I buy it. There is a bakery in my city owned by Germans and they sell pretzel but it’s over three Canadian dollars a piece, but I still buy them! This was delightful to watch. Vielen Dank ❤️

I recently moved from the Northeastern part of France to Montreal, Quebec. When I was living in Elsass, i was like really close to Germany, as a young man i often crossed the rhine river to go gas or to buy cigarettes lol ; and both my mother and sister still go shopping once or twice a month in Germany. I'm starting to miss the genuine Würstschen and I know some German-owned butchery stores hier in Canada sell some good of these Wurstwaren. Do you know some good places you could recommend ?

We stayed in Lutzerath when we first moved to Germany. Oh my goodness, best food on the planet! We’d get the brotchen with butter and I think salami at the bakery for breakfast… so good. They always gave our son who was 3-ish at the time a big hunk of German bologna for free. We stayed at the Hotel Maas. We couldn’t read the menu so the manager said “no problem, I’ll make what Americans like.” Biggest platter I’ve ever seen piled high with potatoes, sausages, peppers, onion. Fantastic.

Agreed. I lived half my life in the USA before I moved back to the UK, and the produce in US supermarkets is horrible. Most of the produce we ate in South Carolina either came from our garden or from the neighbourhood farmer's market. The shite they sell in the supermarket is barely fit to feed animals.
