I could watch them for hours, and I do. Meryl and Charlie are simply magnificent. They are the epitome of hard work and determination. Sing praises to their parents for all their contributions to make these two the greatest ice dancers of all time. My dream to see Meryl and Charlie in person.

They are the EPITOME in the ice dancing world. Yes, the USA has a lot of talent right now - Maia, Alex, Madison and Evan, but not compared to Meryl and Charlie!!!! I've seen them during SOI2014 and they were so awesome. I'll be seeing them again SOI2015 in Hershey, PA on 3/18.

I could watch them for hours at a time. They react to the tone the music sets and change from one tempo to another all the time using the entire rink. Superb and beautiful

2:31 Love this part, where he picked her up and spin, and then she twizzle into his arms in a waltz. So smooth. I haven't seen a pair that can dance on ice as well as Meryl and Davis.

They are nothing less than magnificent.! This actually brings me to tears - especially when they go into the waltz portion. In a way, they remind me of Michelle Kwan. I know!! Michelle is a singles dancer, but what I'm referring to is the confidence you feel as a spectator - knowing you will always be watching an amazing performance. My favorite was her performance of Tosca. The audience went crazy. Meryl and Charlie's performance at the Olympics was also breathtaking (Sherazade). You wonder how they can keep up the tremendous pace and the intricate technique. I will definitely miss seeing them at the competitions. BRAVO!!

There's always something imperfect to home in on, but IMHO, Davis and White are the best dance pair since Torvall and Dean. They are nearly perfect, and the way they combine music, costume, performance, and the soul of the dance makes one fabulous pair.

Unfortunately our current Ice Dancing teams are not near this level. Musically, D&W were superb, and their lifts became even more refined.

The announcers were very complimentary about this performance. I don't know what happened at worlds 2012 but Meryl and Charlie should have won. They were flawless!!

I agree with you Teresa. I also watch them for hours. My dream was to see them marry each other - but it was not to be. Charlie is married, but his wife asked Meryl to be a bridesmaid, so that was a nice to learn. I loved their overhead split and Meryl's position, as well as their final move, when she literally flew into his arm. They are just beautiful to watch - especially their expressions when they look at each other. He always sets her down gently with a smile on his face and she always has a loving look in her eyes when she looks at him (Can you blame me for wanting the whole fairy tale?!) Oh well, as long as they continue dancing together, I guess I'll have to be content with that. (LOL)

@truelovewaits94 Because the AUDIO in this particular video is NOT in-synch with the video. It's a few seconds delayed. Their performance actually is right on cue with the music during the actual event. Judges will not give you a perfect 10 for 'timing' if you're off.

So far .... Ice dance & the UDA ice dance has come so far. Most of us had never heard of it until a bluzzard wiped out the skiing events in Sarajebo & TV had to put something else on, so we saw ice dancing for the first time.
