Really glad to have found your BA Battle Reports. Solid job. There aren't many good BA Reports out there. My air observer has called in rookies pilots 23/38 times. I never take them now.

Great game, lovely table, very interesting. Favourite moment, the air observer friendly fire incident. I hate the double air strike rules, when the US player gets lucky it's game over. I get why Mr Mordian likes his tanks, the nice open terrain on these bat reps. The panzer dominated the battlefield from that hill.

Really nice terrain and models. Good battle report too. I don't yet play bolt action so forgive the nooby question, but how do you prevent your opponent from meta-gaming? I.e reacting to enemy units that he can see but his troops on the board cannot? Seems problematic to me. Thanks for posting Mordian.

I guess that's just how the game works. Fog of war isn't really accounted for in friendly battles. In historical scenarios it can be (partially) with the "hidden" rule.

I use the nastier brother to the M-16 that is the M-15 a lot of opponents sort of hide everything that is not a medium tank on up as the M-15's heavy autocannon with it's +3 pen rating can pretty much spell doom to light tanks and armored cars and transports very easily if it gets a side shot in at mid to close range.. And it is just 10 points more over the M-16 125 points regular vs 135 points regular for the M-15. which is worth it as you also got dual HMG's so you can dish out 6 HMG shots and 2 Hev. autocannon shots for a grand total of 8 shots.
