Drs are bemused and still trying to push pills at me. @NothingByHalves That's fantastic. I actually tried going vegan a few years ago as it was often the easiest thing when I became really intolerant to lactose/milk/cream. I had to buy supplements like K1 and B12 and thought this can't be right, and after the first couple of weeks when I felt great (the detox effect I reckon) I felt generally unwell and sick so ditched it and then discovered Keto. That led me eventually to Carnivore. The strange thing is, although I've eaten meat all my life I've never been a meat lover, eating a steak maybe once a year with a bit of ham and chicken every few days maybe. Now I usually just eat one on it's own with only a bit of mustard or an egg or something. My wife and daughter are always complaining about little ailments and aches and pains and I've told them to try carnivore for just a month but they won't as they are still brainwashed in thinking it causes bowel cancer. I've flooded them with videos etc but no good, they've really been captured. It's so frustrating because I know it would help. Yes I agree that red meat can be a bit much for some people and it is for me occasionally, but as you've proved there are ways round it. Nice one 👍

Problem is that what probably is happening is that they tried to not force people to take of the planet and since people refuse they feel they have to do it by force. So I would think compromise with them would be the best. What is more important to you? Being able to travel abroad using a car and live free or eating animals and loose other freedoms? I know what I will do. I understand this will not be a popular comment, but studies have showed that vegan diet is much more healthy if it done correctly and can even reverse diseases. I have not eaten meat for about 10 years and I don't need it. I live in a small city of Finland so I have not really meet many vegans in real life, where I live there are furfarms and that tend to polarised, people against the industry and those who is for. Well people tend to think just because I'm vegan I'm against which is not my position. I'm somewhat between I don't buy such products but I'm not against it because I know there would be negative consequenses for the animals in that industry, I think they would have these farms in China where animals would loose a lot of rights they currently have here. So because of this reason I think my opinions are not popular because I rarely read or come in contact with people thinking like me and I would include to be so within the vegan community. I want people to be free and I want people to evolve but I would imagine there are people like me who feel desperate, even if there is some progress I personally think it's not enough. I would like a more loving community, people to be more kind towards each other and also animals. I think we can do much better. I hope though we will choose what is ethical by free will and not under force, because there are potential freedoms I would also loose that I don't think is okay, like agency over my body and if I don't obey also loose right to travel also where I live. I wish you however the best and that we don't loose our human rights that I'm afraid are under attack.

I’m female & based in the U.S. I started getting a quarter sized patch near the crown of my head where hair was falling out. Known as alopecia. I cut out the gluten and started taking geritol. The patch is thankfully filling in and growing smaller. Companies are putting something in the food nowadays or their intentionally depleting ingredients of vitamins/nutrients. We humans did not evolve to be vegetarians (lost the ability to extract much nourishment from veg way back when we started to leave the trees and walk upright. No multiple stomachs to ferment the cellulose for protean). It was our paleo ancestors dietary change to meat that cause our development of larger brains. We humans have evolved to eat meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy and animal fats with a very small amount of veg as a filler with even smaller amounts of seasonal fruit due to the high sugar content. If you read up you will find that just about all the veg we have today did not exist in Europe before Columbus, ie no tomatoes for the Italians, no potatoes for the Irish, etc. The history of our current raft of veg only goes back 500 years which is a spit in the ocean of our evolutionary time line. Going veggie people stoke up on carbs like potatoes, pasta, rice and cereals (breakfast types) to fill up. Carbs are really bad for you. Body can't use carbs so changes them to sugars. Do I need to explain the problems with eating large quantities of sugar; it causes cardio vascular problems, increase in weight and diabetes. NO MEAT ESPECIALLY FOR CHILDREN WILL CAUSE AN EPIDEMIC OF ILL HEALTH AND INCREASED DEATH RATES. Could be that's their aim!

The private meet consumption has nothing to do with it and you can still buy as much as you want from ur local store. In Australia our best cut meats now have security tags on them. Makes me think of a Paul Hogan skit, where in the future, people had to make an appointment to see the Butcher and the meat was kept in a locked safe with a security guard armed with a shotgun to protect it! Actually we just had our first Great Meat Robbery earlier this week when a guy craving a BBQ, stole a meat truck loaded with prime cuts!

This started as a term paper at some liberal university. The person got an “A” and kept getting top grades from luny left professors and graduated with honors with a degree in Public Policy and Government Environmental Mandates, with a minor in 1984. Then they were so well qualified for setting restrictions on food consumption that they got a job writing government policy.
