A few observations: 1. I was in a Hungry Horse chain pub the other day and observed that their childrens' menu which was well over 50% vegan options. 2. In my local Tesco, they have a couple of sections where they place reduced food that is nearly out of date and it is always full of the vegan crap that no-one wants. 3. Why, if vegans are so vehemently opposed to meat does all vegan food simply try to imitate meat? It should be illegal for a product to say it is meat or milk if it is not.

No3. I wondered this. I thinking why does a Gregg's vegan sausage roll look like a normal meat version? Vegans want to eat vegetable based food. They don't want to be reminded of meat products. .. So I came to the conclusion. Vegan products are deliberately designed to appeal to meat eaters... To create a market for such products. .. I think the goal is to try and artificially reduce meat consumption, So that the power that be can then legislate a ban on meat products (for climate reasons) due to " lower demand" .. The same technique is being used for EVs. Bang on about the climate crisis and talk of climate "emergencies" .. Create a fear of the climate promoting EVs as environmentally sound (there not) .. Create a demand for said vehicles. .. The sale of EVs are in decline due to the fake demand created for them.. .. Same with vegan products.

Food allergies were incredibly rare when I was growing up in the 1960s. Beautiful raw milk from a cow that hasn't been vaccinated until she is a pincushion or fed on pesticide sprayed silage is incredibly tasty and nutritious. We grew up with cream on top of the milk - delicious. Even pasteurisation causes intolerances. I was brought up on raw milk and I was healthy. My friend and I used to wonder why we got headaches after drinking school (pasteurised) milk at break time. Now well over 50 years later, we are still friends and love raw milk.

I've often wondered how much of the processed crap we're sold causes problems like cancer. They have all sorts of problems in the less developed countries, but because their food isn't manufactured, cancer isn't one of them. I'm currently questioning what's actually in the sacks of dog food they sell. We have recently lost our dog, and this is now the third one that has been lost to cancer. I can't think of anything else that would cause it other than what they're easting. all three were completely different breeds and did live to over 10 years each but it's some coincidence.

It's is all about mass cheap food production . I am sure eating poultry dairy & meat is perfectly safe in its natural state. All the growth hormones fertilizer, pesticides are all contributing to our modern day ills. . Take gluten intolerance. In the past bread was baked in the oven over a 24hr period. During this time the gluten was broken down. . Fast forward to todays bread Is made in a centrifuge to artificially raise the dough. This can be done quicker than the traditional method. However, due to this process the gluten doesn't get broken down - hence the gluten intolerance.. That modern process is called the Chorley wood method . It may have been replaced now as this was sometime ago.

Great video! I’ve always loved full fat jersey cows milk..the one problem I’ve had is that I couldn’t previously drink dairy. A month ago I started fasting (not mega fasting) just eating from around lunch time. I’d start with kefir and a probiotic. I added jersey cows milk to my coffee instead of oat milk! I also added sauerkraut to my diet. Currently going well and no bad eczema reactions to dairy milk. I rekon it’s about healing the gut. No more nasty sunflower oil in my coffee. I used to cringe using it. 😂😂

@@scaryfakevirus I think so yes. I’ve read homogenised milks can cause complications too in terms of the body being able to recognise the fats. I’ve had raw milk in the past it’s just hard to get. I've not seen these drinks labelled as "milk". I know most people call it oat milk, soya milk, etc. but the cartons just label it as "drink". I can't drink milk so I do drink these alternatives instead but I don't call them "milk". As for the vegan processed food you need to be a chemist to understand what is in most of it. What's wrong with proper vegan food like potatoes, tomatoes, and all the other fresh fruit and veg.? I don't understand why vegans want to eat mashed up muck that vaguely resembles the look, taste, and texture of meat. I make my own burgers and they only contain minced meat, salt, and pepper. They are juicy and meaty. Vegan burgers are not like proper meat. There's an insect restaurant near me, and insect burgers remind me of vegan burgers. Dry and crumbly with not taste in any way related to beef. Another thing, veggie food and insect food is supposed to be cheaper, so why do I pay three times the price for a manky insect burger when I can buy three of the most delicious burgers I've ever tasted at a local pub instead? One day the scientists will discover that plants have feelings, they just don't scream out loud like animals, and what will the vegans do that? Eat dirt? Plants do react to being damaged, and some even become poisonous when one of them is eaten. Grass grows like weeds and is plentiful, and some of my favourite food is made from grass and provides fertiliser for the vegans' food 🙂 As for electric cars, I would like an electric car if it had an engine to charge the batteries for long journeys. Just enough batteries for about a 50 mile range would do me fine, then on a longer journey I can just add petrol and go off without worrying about charging along the way. I do love the sound of some engines and would hate to see them banned altogether. I would prefer the people were able to make our own choice. Instead of banning petrol cars, make the electric cars so appealing that we can't resist buying one. I miss the simple cars that were easy to fix and had less to go wrong.

Minced beef, bacon, beef burgers, steak and there are a lot of them to choose from, i just really like Sirloin! lamb chops, pork chops, i eat them all and enjoy it hugely. weird as it is, you can eat meat and it not be detrimental to your body, the same cannot be said for vegetables, its why vegans have to supplement their diets with all the vitamins that are commonly found in meat or suffer the consequences.

The issue I have with a lot of vegan/vegetarian food is it trying (and badly failing) to emulate animal based products. A sweet potato curry is delicious for example, no need for meat. A "meat free" chicken substitute curry is disgusting. We get to shop at a certain chain of shops that sell excess produce from the major supermarkets. Overwhelmingly the stuff they have left and cannot sell, even at massive discount prices, is the awful vegan / plant-based versions of meat or dairy products. Judging by the amounts they get in the first place, neither can the major supermarkets sell it either.

I don't get the Vegan pandering thing, with less than 1% of people being Vegan. I've seen so many Vegan restaurants closing down, especially in towns where there were multiple choices. Imagine how stupid you would have to be to setup a new business to fight for 1% of trade, with some other restaurant that was already struggling trying to attract that 1% to eat there 🤣 Same with the whole trans agenda thing. Why are businesses falling over themselves to pander to a group of people that is less than 1% of your customers, whilst upsetting the 99% in the process?

Geoff, you ask ‘Do we even need milk?’ And the answer is surely ‘No’ since it is meant for the infant cows. But the Milk Marketing Board in the past did a good job of promoting milk and we view it as a staple now in the UK. My friend in Israel, where there is a shortage of cows, pours orange-juice on his breakfast cereals. NB Kellogg’s did an equally good job in promoting processed cereals as a breakfast food.

The traditional way, Take a cup of oats put in pan, add a cup & a half of water, add a tea spoon of salt and stir vigorously for a minute then leave to marinate over night! In the morning put pan on heat and stir continually untill fully heated and firming untill the spoon (or spirtle) can stand (approx.8-10minutes). empty into bowl(s) adding whatever you choose to add flavour/texture, to taste! Enjoy! Over a weeks supply for under a £1 per Kg!
