This is what I love about you, Nick: you are all about seizing the moment and enjoying life and making life worthwhile. But you never try to make it influencer-ish, you just do it, film it and it makes a great video. Even if it's simple and small stuff, like your game day tradition of drinking a Cappuccino on the steps of the church or things like that. A lot of KZbinrs and Instagramers do great things to show them on social media. You just do those things for yourself and happen to film them. And it's clear that editing is one of your passions and not just another step in getting a video online. You manage to tell stories with your editing even when there is no real story to tell. Your content is different from most stuff online. You are awesome and I want to thank you for sharing your life with us!

I just spent a week in Cologne early November (my first time in Germany), and before the trip I was told that I might get bored spending a week there. But after a week, I felt like it's not enough. I really don't get how this beautiful city can be boring. So many sights to see, so many museums to visit, so many things to explore. I loved the Kölsch cuisine (Halve Hahn, Himmel un Ääd, I wish I could have tried all of it but my stomach is limited lol) and the beer (I wish I could bring home some). Everything I tried in Bakery Merzenich is heavenly (Nougatbrezel, Käsekuchen, and so many bread, pastries and coffee). The people are very nice and respect your space too. I was also there at 11/11(beginning of Cologne Carnival I believe). The streets and people are very lively, wearing costumes, singing their hearts out, and just genuinely enjoying the day. It was fun watching that. :) I wish to return someday in the future. :)

Cologne my homecity, it's hard to understand but it's just a feeling of coming home when you ride a train across the Hohenzollern brige into the central station or when you return from the west and you drive down the hills and there you see the city spred out on the foggy banks of the rhine. It's by far not the best orgenised the cleanest, the richest or the biggest city in germany, europe or even the world but If you fall for the unique vibes it will always be like you coming home. Doesn't matter if you from there or not...

Really love watching you explore and live in Germany. You mentioned the Ulmer Münster and I was wondering if you have ever visited Ulm. I know that it is more of an industrial city and probably not considered very hip, but climbing the Münster steeple is pretty cool and might make a nice video. I have done it because I have family that lives nearby in Langenau.

Although not one of the major cities, if you can you should visit Aachen and the nearby Monschau, Aachen is a very historical city as it was the seat of charlemagne and in the cathedral you can see his sarcophagus in the treasury and his throne if its on display. And Monschau is just a beautiful small town with an excellent mustard mill. The Tri-point border with germany, the netherlands and belgium is also nearby and has a maze and the highest point of the netherlands!

The Grand German City Tour in Cologne feat. how not to use a washing machine (means not at all - look at your paws), how to not point at things with your middle finger (because Nick, that's rude), how to recite Wikipedia (good boy), how to complain Nalf-style (good that you're still you), how to be the perfect little boy with a toy (lime-in' hard), how to Christmas market with the great Bruno (great to see him again), how to grin like a child at Christmas eve (yeah Nick, it's like Disneyland at a Christmas market), how to annoy everyone (please never stop). God, no! I used to live in Nuremberg and hated Nürnberger Christkindlesmarkt because it's so fucking crowded and impossible to get through without getting smeared by greasy food or soaked with Glühwein, egg liquor, or whatever the people have in cups. It's also most overrated and boring Christmas market in entire Germany. Berlin has so many different types of Christmas markets that makes it more fun. Same with Munich, too.

The coolest big city in Germany without doubt is Berlin. But Cologne - for me - is the most appealing big city, mostly because of its people - and because I was born some 50 km away from it know it quite well. Germany has four cities with a million or more people. Berlin is the biggest and a little bit like New York, Munich could probably be compared to Denver, and Hamburg to San Francisco. But Cologne? Hard to compare with any big city in the states I know of. For me, Cologne is probably the most true German city of all.
