To be honest, similarly with Northern, Chiltern really ought to replace Celia, because over time, they may end up needing more infills, which just makes announcements sound messier than they need to be. That replacement could either be ATOS Anne, or they could maybe go with a TTS system, although I think the former would sound a heck of a lot better.

@Parallel395 well that is one answer, but in many ways, there are probably sufficient Anne files they could just install instead, given Anne extensively announces Northern at Avanti, TPE and LNER stations, and same case with Chiltern, as Anne used to announce them at Birmingham Snow Hill before they switched to TTS

@maerlusiq Indeed. One example i can think of was Ivona Amy pronouncing Balcombe as Bal-com, rather that bawl-com. Given that could easily happen with almost station anywhere in the country, which is why TTS is not as good of an idea as it may seem.

Thanks, yes Chiltern operate a lot of 2-5 carriage trains and this was a Saturday when everyone wanted to go to London.

It’s because Chiltern are the only operator from this station so they don’t need the train company name
