That first lat movement was a life changer for me, except I used suspended bands hanging from a pull up bar. Once I implemented them, my lats really started blowing up and then started they actually started getting even more developed when doing deadlifts.

The variation of dumbbells is extremely useful for a small person like me kzbin.infoUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 But the dumbbell size being large it's hard to do certain exercises like deadlift ( I have to have my hands and legs a bit wider to accommodate the size of the DB )Otherwise happy with the purchase. No excuse not to lift weight when it's snowing outside.

If you let the bar go too high on straight arm pull downs you will take the tension off your lats . Everyone’s bodies are different so just keep that in mind sone people will still feel that deep stretch in their lats at the top half of the rep whereas others won’t just do what feels best for you

No hate or anything, but when Dr. Mike and Charlie are hitting the lat pulldowns, they seem to be going against what they’re telling Eugene and Bart. It could just be they’re able to activate the lats much better, but Eugene and Bart aren’t new to lifting either
