The foundation is almost a matte consistency, so I think it would be great for combo, normal or oily skin. It's super long lasting, I wore it for 11 hours and it still looked beautiful. It had a medium to full coverage and applied quite seemlessly. All in all I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. I would rank it better but I wish it was a little more of a natural finish for my very very dry skin.

Hi Melissa, I don't normally use foundation because I've been blessed with great skin now that I'm 71. Even though I had cystic acne, I survived it without getting scarring. I stayed on top of it by seeing dermatologists and had cortisone shots in my cysts. I think because of all the oil my face produced it helped me stave off wrinkles. Even so, I have developed a good skin care routine, and follow you diligently. Thank you!

I love to use a sponge. My favorite foundation is Merle Norman Total Finish. I have worn this for 30 years. This comes with a sponge. I just wet it with water and put it on. I've had to tweak it a little more since I gotten older, but I still love it. Your make up always looks great 👍👌😍

Hi Melissa I always remember the makeup artists of my youth saying that 70% of the time spent on your makeup should be on the complexion - just as true now as back in the eighties and nineties lol (probably more so as I have become older). If I'm in a hurry I do a quick eye look, but the time I do have is spent on the foundation etc. I do my skincare, leave to sink in for 15 to 20 mins (have coffee etc), apply spf, get dressed etc and then do my makeup - primers, colour corrector (leave to settle for a few minutes whilst I do my eyes) and then the foundation, concealer, powder, cheek products and so on. A very quick face is 20 minutes total, but a full face is a good half hour (if not longer). I have super dry skin (plus rosacea and eczema), so I use a ton of skincare and that has to soak in for a while before I apply makeup (to get a good finish on the skin and last all day). I get out of bed a bit earlier to allow ample time to do it all, but that's my choice obviously. Very dry or older skin needs more time spent blending to look good unfortunately lol. Best wishes.

It truly brings me joy to see you so happy and feeling healthy! 😍 Moisturizing with my Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base and then using a damp beauty sponge to apply my foundation. (right now I am IN LOVE with my Dior Matte...Oh my goodness it is so pretty!!) I need no powder with the Dior, so that helps with not looking to dry, but I have so many lovely foundations that I find I do different things with each one. Thanks for all your tips!! Always use a primer. I use a brush to apply my makeup then spray my sponge with setting spray and blot. Seems to help foundation look better. Still struggle with foundation separating on my noise and chin. Love your eye makeup! Trying to branch out a little from my basic browns.
