I was watching one of your courses on pro mix academy the other day and saw you using this plugin and was like "woah.. that solved things fast! What is this black magic?" What a genuinely useful and innovative tool. I have to say I really appreciate your honesty on youtube, bringing attention to intrinsically valuable products. David, your reviews are excellent, and that includes this one! What an awesome looking drum gate. I have a lot of options right now, including Wilkinson DeBleeder (simple to use), JST Tominator (seems to perform better), and Boz Labs Gatey Watey (haven't had a lot of success yet with it). But this new Oxford one looks amazing! Seems to have the best features of EQ-dependent gate as well as the capabilities of Sound Radix Drum Leveler. I have not used Drum Leveler though I've read reviews saying it is excellent. But this Oxford one looks really cool, especially that feature that allows it to 'learn' mistriggered hits. I just wish it wasn't even higher priced than Drum Leveler! Thanks again.

Didn't you have a preamp video and you answered several questions of mine? Preamps for microphones? I can't find it anywhere ;( And I can't find me saving in favorites your recommendations (amazon link to suggested product). This is an epic fail for me (me failing ofc, lol). In your answer, I asked whether with this product I should lower the input of my interface, I think you suggested yes, so the interface's preamp wouldn't intervene in the sound of the preamp? Or something like that. My question really is I shouldn't just plug my Blue baby bottle into my 2i2 Scarlett interface, but use a preamp first instead?
