@dark zeratul Not entirely it's what he thinks he is, it's an amalgamation of his own personality, Zack's, his perceived image of what a 1st Class SOLDIER is (Cool, calm and collected badasses) etc. His mind is basically fractured at this point. Some of his dialogue feels like something Zack would also say, but he delivers differently; He fights and carries himself like Zack. His similarities to Zack is what made Aerith take interest in him in the 1st place.
