@@kierenaster honestly, i never saw her as some meek and pious girl but in the og FF7 i feel they portrayed her as more of a sweet girl with street smarts who is willing to do what it takes so her character felt strong but still refined and subdued. This version of Aerith ramps up her bubbliness and self-assurance to such an effective degree that its compounded with her already great image to create that of a strong young woman who is sweet and does what it takes but is also very unfraid to march at her own beat. this Aerith has a zest for life that probably always existed but its just more apparent in the remake
