Also a small tip. If you have augmented a rank 12 weapon and you wanna use a different one, you dont have to refarm everything if you are too bored to do that. Just roll back the augment and it returns all the materials used. Basically you only need to farm the augment once and you are good to go.

However "upgrades" that increase augment slot are permanent....you can't increase them back

@@adrianthao9791 tbh mate if you use more than one weapon it becomes a massive pain in the ass to keep removing and adding them, I've got it on like 5 of mine too

health regen is actually a huge damage boost too not only because you don’t have to heal but you can maintain peak performance really easy

100% - and you *know* you can be way more aggressive too, attacking through DoT attacks and stuff like that

The skill considers you picking up some bones, so it works just like farming bonepiles on map. Probably an unintended use for skill but I'm glad they didn't fix it.

I never understood how the health augment worked until I heard the way you explained it. Idk the way the in-game description explained it didnt really make sense to me. Now I understand why everyone says it's so good. I gotta get it once I reach mr 100. Your videos are always so informative. Thanks for the content man! :)

If you use Full Safi this is 100% worth, you will get the benefits without the negatives of Safi Armor

I FINALLY got health regen on my lightbreak press! Such a game-changer. 7:13 Could you also go over how to get the mats for health regen on the rarity 11 weapons? I definitely want to add it to my fenrir rose as well (I'm coming, Alatreon......)

Nice work! It’s listed in the Wiki page, but you’ll need a tempered Yian Garuga, tempered Pukei-pukei, and some bones from the Forest region

I've picked this game up again cause I've never played the iceborne part, and since I always play solo I tend to make some type of immortal build (either high defense or max evasion), know about this augmentation will really put the "immortal" part in the build. Thanks

Are there any restrictions to the 7.5% lifesteal per attack? Like do different weapons change the value at all? If not, that would be insane on something like dual blades. You'd be immortal

It's flat, so VERY powerful! However it does have an inbuilt cool down of every 0.2 seconds I think it was (off the top of my head) This means multi-striking weapons, think spread HBG for example, won't be as effective as it'll only take one "hit" into account for the lifesteal

@@Haunter_1616 actually HBG and any ranged weapon is the worst weapon to put this augment because if you using something like pierce or spread because it only count first and one hit only not total hit and damage or based from augment cooldown, same as bow, so in HBG the best use just using normal or sticky ammo

Practice area helps a lot! Properly understanding what moves a weapon has will give you a great foundation to build off of

I play on ps4, what helped is to change my playstyle from a more aggressive playstyle to more defensive playstyle which gave me time to really learn dual blades, switch axe and glaive so now i play more aggressively with iceborne monsters currently and not die.

i didnt understand the grinding lands at first but now i kinda get it now. so thats why when i joined a grinding lands expidition, this group of japanese players kept spamming luring kulu and jagras again n again.

they were probably working towards leveling all regions to level 7 which happens at 7600 monster kills I believe. So people spawn the easiest monsters over and over
