I have 2 words. Motivation. Accomplishment. I was forced retired at 60 in 2020. I've worked for 2 non-permanent jobs totaling a year, so actually been "stuck" in retirement for like 3 years. In that time, Swedish Death Cleaned the house, but I'm feeling I really REALLY want to work. So ... rather than be stuck and not knowing what to do with all this time, and feeling like I'm 30, not 65 ... am going to go for it!! I'm studying to get my CDL (Commercial Driver's License), which that industry seems to hire older people without issue, whereas every other job I've applied for shuns older people. Have driven 600 miles every week back and forth to my out of state job for like a decade, so know the ins and outs of driving "around" truckers. And have always wanted to drive a big rig!! Whatever your plans are out there, GO FOR IT!! And God will bless!! But God isn't blessing my choosing to be sedentary and give up. Nope, not in 2025!!

I moved my mother's home 2300 sq of it into my home. I have left to unpack is 86 boxes in my basement. I am her housemate, instead of calling it a caregiver. I applaud you for looking after them. I made a promised to God when I was 10, and to my dad when he was dying of leukaemia, and on my sister's death bed a year ago, I would look after her. Its hard and trying to get organised too. Especially when you are not working and waiting for one's disability to come in as well. I admire all caregivers. Kathryn, I have been following you from the first time you did your first few videos, way back then lol.

Happy New Year! My word will be simplicity and peace. Made it, didn't watch the ball drop. Stayed up until 2am to finish reorganizing my laundry room, while watching Wicked. I have been donating regularly and still have SO much stuff, it's very overwhelming. I am making headway, just keep reorganizing and decluttering. Also, purchasing different things to organize if others have not worked for me. It's a lot, but I love watching decluttering videos to keep me motivated while I work through it. As a single mother without no more family than my daughter and my 🐈, I always used to have everything great, my family, home, job, clean and organize home, stay always for everyone but never for myself. Unfortunately we all have Covid for the new year so big blobs is what we are for sure. Before I came to your channel I already decided my word for the year would be organization. Organize and purge are my goals. I’m disabled so everything I do takes double or triple time then what it is for you. Luckily I found an old friend to help me. This is going to be amazing. This year I think my phrase will be “moving forward “. I have made progress the last two years in reclaiming my home, but lately I have stalled. happy new year, kathryn! thank you so much for the free download. you've been a huge help over the past 10 months or so (or whenever it was that i first discovered your channel lol). we've been in the middle of a multi-room diy remodel since the summertime & organizational solutions have been *HUGE* for me. i finally discovered the beauty of lazy susans & i will never go back! 🤣 i have em in both bathroom cupboards, the refrigerator _and_ the laundry room. and i also have several empty ones waitin in the wings for when our kitchen cabinets get installed over the next two days. 🙌🏽 lazy susans are a super inexpensive way to organize products & they take the stress outta accessing "the tall bottles in the back" of a cabinet or fridge shelf. lol game changers! 💙
