Great way to use leftover ham. I told my daugter she would be seeing leftover Turkey in something soon on my channel lol. She took some home but I put some in the freezer. That is a handy gadget to have. It took no time to slice the potatoes.

Yes girl that slicer is wonderful, it makes great potato chips too 🙌 I made turkey noodle soup last year with leftover turkey, pot pie is a great one too! I’m sure you will think of something delicious 🥰🤗

Wowza, Rhonda! That's one beautiful dish. Think I'll make this for dinner tonight, too. I have the same slicer, which will make this quick and easy. In fact, as I peek at your other kitchen goodies, I see we must be twins! It's so fun to share such meaningful treasures. Love from Arkansas!

Yes ma’am it was perfect for our chilly day, 40° is freezing 🥶 for us 😀 Girl that little slicer/grater is a wonderful gadget, I use it all the time, especially for cheese, I buy the large hunk of cheese and keep it grated in a ziplock bag so it’s handy!!! Many thanks for watching shuga 🥰🤗

Rhonda, love watching your videos. You are helping so many that are living on a tight budget. I would make that and sprinkle with some Cajun or Italian seasoning and a sprinkle of cayenne and chili. Just a thought. I always think, how would I make this recipe my own for my preferences, not better, just to my taste and I have been on a Cajun kick for the last three years.

My husband and sister don't like cheese. The rest of us LOVE cheese. Usually. we only have really cheesy stuff when neither is around. It hardly ever happens, so It's a cheese party when we get to really eat it. I'm going to make this!
@RhondascountrykitchenАй бұрын
Well the cheese makes the wonderful sauce but really doesn’t look like cheese, they may like it 🤣You could also just make the sauce without cheese and just add cheese on half of the dish, I love cheese too, on or in anything 🙌 I hope you enjoy it girl, lick the plate 🤣🥰

I know you always tell us, "use what you've got ", but I feel bad for those who have never enjoyed a totally from scratch scalloped potatoes with or without ham. Makes a great main meal as is or a delicious side to any meat, vegetable, or salad. This kind of dish is easily adjustable to even a couple of servings. Make it even easier with a package of white gravy mix, but do "step away from the box" because this is a whole different experience and worth the effort😊
@RhondascountrykitchenАй бұрын
Yes ma’am, and I agree, simple is sometimes the absolute best! It is delicious even without ham, you know I like taters anyway I can get them lol but this little recipe has been a favorite for many years 🥰 People truly are missing out on made from scratch recipes, and it really isn’t much more effort than box meals, but totally worth the effort 🥰🤗

What i use to make French Fries is? 1 of the old style Ronco Veg - O - Matic I use the skins on them. Place a tater down into the blades and HIT IT 👉👉 Instant French Fries! To dice them? Just slice them across! To me it the best French Fry Maker there is.. I quit buy store milk, and went to powder milk 👍👍 GOD IT GOOD, NOW DAYS. Back in the days it was NASTY TASTING . Not no more > IT JUST LIKE STORE WHOLE MILK this save it from spoiling! pouring blinky milk down the drain Yuck.. Just mix up what your going to use the next 4 days
@RhondascountrykitchenАй бұрын
There’s not anything better than some good ol’home fries, nothing that they sell in the frozen section compares, and honestly it’s not that much work, especially if you don’t mind peels. Powdered milk surely keeps longer, whatever works best, that’s what counts 😎🥰
