Two weeks before my taper, I was sidelined with horrible shin splints. This is my 4th night of doing this and it has made all the difference! I will be able to run the damn marathon. Won’t be as fast as I wanted, but at least I can run it. Thank you!

I’ve had on and off shin splint pain for about a year. And nothing seems to make it go away permanently. I’ll be doing this at least 3 times a week and hopefully it’ll help some! I’ll come back to this to let you know how it’s been working :) thanks in advance Vlad.

Thank you so much Vlad!! I recently started feeling the front of my shins hurting and being sensitive to the touch after 3 weeks of me running daily on the treadmill. (I'm a beginner and I think I pushed too hard :'( ) After searching online what the pain was, I realized it was shin splints. I decided to do further research on Reddit's /running forum and a member recommended this video!! Started doing it today so that I can get back to running sometime in the near future. Thanks again for such an informative and easy to follow video.

What are your updates now? I am in the same position after having started playing football after about 8 years (I've had right ankle injury twice and had to stop playing)

If you can’t isolate raising and lowering your big toe at all, how do you work up to that?

Thanks a lot for all your excellent videos. I keep getting shin splints after each soccer game, but not from any long or fast runs. I can't work out is it due to kicking a ball hard (I'm right footed and right shins are more painful) and not right way or is it due to running on a grass and difference of boots from normal running shoes. What I noticed is when someone steps on my foot during the games, shin splints are even worse.

this workout is not super hard on the body so can be done every day - you might want to mix it in with the mobility workout i have on here as well

This may be a silly question but does shin splints make the muscle in the front of your leg go numb & sore? I think I may have shin splints but I’m not 100% as I’ve never had them before?

Shin Splints is when you have pain in the shin bone

Thnx for the vid, I've been recovering from shin splints for over 6 months and when I started running again lately with very low volume and intensity, I feel discomfort or poke arount my shins. Is this normal? And if yes how long does it take to b back to normal? Thanks again :)

you really want to take it easy on the running till you build stronger feet - you can also look at your running form and running shoes as they might be the problem as well
