The sudden sad realization at the end of the song. That it is out of his hands.

It was man, it always was, but He still chose to go through with it and obey the Father. He knew this was the right thing to do, and thus we are saved thanks to Jesus Christ.

From the best film about the last days of Christ. Everything, the timing, the scenery, the perfomrances and the metaphors were astonishing.

Everytime I hear this story of Jesus, I cry. Because His sacrifice for us should be bore by no man. But He did took our sins because He is more than a man, He is the Son of God. Even though the human side of Him resist, He knows that this is fate and His faith to God The Father is bigger than His fears.

A novel, moving approach by Andrew Lloyd Webber to depict Jesus wrestling at Gathshemene with the Father's will for Him to die for the sins of all mankind. In many ways a veritable masterpiece of proving in vivid imagery and bone marrow shaking song that Jesus would be the greatest controversy to hit planet earth in all its troubled history. It's not hard to see even Ted Neely wrenching as he folds his hands in the penultimate scene of this moment. Jesus changes lives. Stirs the spirit of every human. He took your pain. Your shame. The wretched sin of all humankind He received all those false accusations, all that filth and destruction upon himself. All only in order to manifest God's love toward us: in that while we were yet sinners, Christ knowingly died for us. That knock at the door of your heart while watching this is His tender way of saying, 'Receive this free gift I paid in full. It's at no cost to you. I took your sins. Just receive it.'
