Merry Christmas ya’ll. So this video was a brutal effort to get to the finish line. For some reason it was getting hit with really intense copyright restrictions more than usual. One of the most brutal edits we’ve ever done. We did our best to keep the quality but you’ll probably notice the movie being cut up more than previous videos. All of this was done in an effort to get the video public. I’m actually relieved we managed to do this in time for Christmas as it was supposed to be released yesterday. I swear Lacey's mom got on my NERVES in this movie. Does anyone have parents like this? My anxiety was through the roof watching her 😂. Did they just say Madea was Lacey's aunt? Every movie the family tree just gets elusive. I don't think Tyler even remembers who is related to who.

The point I was making is that as this franchise progresses over the years, there are neices/nephews/grandchildren that were never mentioned before and will NEVER be mentioned again. He just adds in family members convienient for the plot 😂😂. To be fair, as the movie progresses, we learn she is a great neice but in the movie Homecoming from 2022, Perry makes a hard retcon on these ppl. Lol

imo, the reason Madea feels different is it's like she's usually the oldest person dishing out wisdom but with Connor's parents, it's like she's comfortable with their equality in life experience- don't take life too serious. It's like the difference when your parents are around you all the time and constantly lecturing and yelling but then they have a party and you sneak and you see them relaxed and being fun with their peers.

I totally agree with you. I remember going to the movies with my father to see The 5 ❤ Heartbeats then Soul Food. Robert Townsend put up his own 💰 💵 to get 5 Heartbeats made. It was only after the success of 5 Heartbeats & Soul Food that Hollywood was willing to invest in black movies again after following off in the 80' s. iI remember my father telling me this. The success of Soul Food & 5 Heartbeats led to the resurgence of black movies that we now consider modern classics in my opinion 😊

I was really confused when Jaby didn't upload yesterday but then i remembered that I'm on the other side of the World(South Africa) cause yesterday was Christmas for us but then i was like it must be the time zone difference but i was still confused because usually when Jaby uploads Madea Tuesday /Wednesday, i always see them on a Tuesday or a Wednesday normally, so i eventually just gave it to maybe you had issues uploading or with copywrite. I absolutely love this movie. I have so many memories with it where I saw it in the theaters with my family when it came out and every year my family and I watch it once to five times a year. I did a Christmas movie marathon for this year in honor of my grandma as this was one of her favorite Christmas movies and I was going to do it this year for my reaction channel but I didn’t get to because of time, but I’m doing it next year to honor her as she passed away this year in August and this is my first Christmas without her and it was difficult and I’m honestly so glad you guys reacted to this movie and I feel like i was back watching this movie for the first time in the theater again. Eileen's character I think her ending was realistic, not likely to get a redemption because in real life people like her don't try to change or grow as a person even after major moments in life. The yellow ribbon on a tree- even if you dont know the meaning if you see a plant or object with a ribbon on it just assume it has meaning to someone and ask before you mess with the object. Oh and one message that this movie should have been louder about is read the contract before you sign it! Regardless of the money, gotta read that small writing or get a lawyer who will.
