Could you explain, "Why do you 'Skim' New plaster board, on New construction. " Old walls, yes I understand. Out of line, cracks, old plaster, lath plaster, bricks etc. Is it for continuity of finish 😮. Only reason I can see. I have seen it NOT being done on new work, for other additions/renovations.

When the knees get too weak you both need to move into training, you guys at the helm we might return some professionalism to building while coming face to face with reality of the daily challenges. Don’t pay too much attention to those with negative comments about safety barriers and poor dubbing, there’s a lot more to enjoy other than raising poor dubbing, you would think we were paying to watch Would like to see some of them having a go at what you do and not afraid to put their sites out there worldwide. 👏

Have you left enough free ventilation doing your parapet ventilation if you’ve dressed that lead alternative on to the fibreglass?
@Llamberg.Railway5 ай бұрын
I noticed that the extraction unit uses a standard 3 pin plug, this means if the plug fuse blows the extraction unit has to be dropped to change the fuse. You pointed to the cables on the floor that feed the socket. Would it be not better to put a fused unit in there instead.
@Mr_A_Builders5 ай бұрын
The extractor comes with a plug fitted and it states in the instructions that if the plug is removed it voids the warranty. I can't agree with you more about the fused spur as there will be one in the cupboard where I pointed as well to comply with regs but not sure what else could be done.
@Llamberg.Railway5 ай бұрын
@@Mr_A_Builders yes a difficult one with regard to the warranty, and I understand the reluctance to do anything to void the warranty. I guess this raises two points that such a condition on a warranty is valid considering where extraction is placed and the length of power cable being of adequate length. In my hobby I come across this all the time, it can be a valid argument that any fault that may develop and such as removing the plug was not the cause could be construed as unfair terms of a warranty.
@MattGriffin14 ай бұрын
The fuse will likely be 3A, so a breaking capacity of around 1300 watts (1.9 times the rated current). If the extractor were to pull that amount of power then it would be a fault condition within the unit, most likely requiring it to be removed and replaced anyway.
@Llamberg.Railway4 ай бұрын
@@MattGriffin1 as fuses age it’s not uncommon for them to blow even without a fault condition, just the surge of turning on can blow fuses
