You actually made the right decision getting the tire fixed. If you would have started driving over 55mph with ur tire slowly losing air, that could have resolved in a terrible accident. It's possible that the leak was slowly starting to progress overnight and you may have been sleeping. But you made the right call Alex

Alex that tire will hold air until it can't hold air and then things get more complicated in life. Especially at a scale house if you get pulled in by DOT. Now going to Walmart first and then the shop would of been a good idea considering the leak wasn't that bad.

You have new microwave. What happened to the red one?
@quietbrianquiet
@quietbrianquiet Жыл бұрын
If you are watching this and considering driving please don't go to Walmart to buy a tire repair kit. You will then be liable. Don't put reflective red tape on the trailer. You are then liable. Don't do any mechanical repairs unless you own the truck. If there is a major accident the other side will have 12 lawyers that paid for 4 retired DOT inspectors to inspect your truck in the tow yard after the accident. If you did the repair they will find out and you will be sued as well for the repairs. It might be a perfect repair but if you did it and you didn't own the truck you just took responsibility. Why do that? The amount of stress for parking and driving this way and lining up that way to back in is insane. He has been driving a long time now. It all should be second nature by now. Watch a lot of trucking channels to see what driving is like if you are considering driving, take them all with the knowledge no one is going to do everything perfect and either are you.

Hey Alex, we're just wrapping up our graveside service and we all brought our trucks! I'm planning something for you for Friday the 26th. You were so nice I figured you deserve the surprise, When I saw my bank books, and his insurance policy I almost fainted! That's on top of the 3 new Kenworths he ordered 3 weeks ago awaiting pick up. I had some of my customers showed up at the yard, so we gave them a ride in our trucks to the service. I made sure they rode in the 2024s, everyone enjoyed their rides. I can't thank you enough Alex, you've been at this longer than me but being a boss is a pain. In his diary, he was joking about the fighting geese? Can you explain that one? I just wanted to thank you for being so nice. My uncle liked your videos and I'm watching them too now, I gtg and be a boss again and send 2 truckers to Dover N.H. then Deerfield Mass. and have them back by Tuesday night, team driving. In trucking you have to be used to being by yourself. That being said, a lot of truckers have satellite connected TV's, mobile hotspot internet connections for their phone and laptops, gaming consoles, etc. So it isn't like you can't have some of the comforts of home. Just that you will be by yourself most often.

My answer is that the entire reason I got into trucking was because I was tired of being around other people. I can be out for 3+ weeks without going home and barely notice. As for boredom meh, I just don't get bored, you can listen to audiobooks or music or podcasts while you drive, or you can just tune all that out and listen to the wind rushing by.

You're wrong, changing weight can effect the tire, that tire could blow out going down the road and please don't think that every time you see a leak like that, that it will behave the same as this 1 did. You did the right thing and should always get it fixed, should you run across it again in the future. 💜💜 EDIT - Other peoples life could depend on it as well. Air being put back in the tire is mostly for regulation of tire pressure and safety measures. It is not a "fixes itself" when repair is needed.
