To clarify, the victims were SA’d and then killed and disposed off in the tunnel. They came together to become a location bound crab spirit. Turbo Granny visits these spirits to console them. As a result she also protected Momo from being SA’d by the serponians and removed the weenies of boys in order to guarantee they won’t hurt other women. It’s a bit sad you didn’t pick up on that, but a lot of ppl I’ve seen haven’t

Turbo Granny is complex. She is turbo, but she is also granny, so it makes sense she's looking out for the departed young ladies, and also diametrically opposed to the Serpoans. Dandadan's action, absurdity and heart trifecta is unmatched and has only just begun to cook! Brace yourselves!

Spirits can go through phones in this story because they don't have bodies. It's just a world building thing, don't worry about it too much. And all those people chasing them were possessed. The bound spirits and Turbo Granny controlled all the spirits in that area. Every area in Japan is controlled by a different God or spirit. Those areas vary in size depending on the power of the God or spirit. This is all based on Shinto religious beliefs. The sumo alien was sent there by the aliens from episode 1. Those aliens were targeting them again after they escaped in the first episode.

Ghosts coming through phones (screens more specifically) is probably a reference to the movie The ring, wich is a japanese movie that later got an american version, and both were based on a japanese novel. In that movie the ghost of a dead girl came out of a tv screen to kill anyone that watched a cursed videotape. That said, I might be just reachig.

There’s several Japanese movies that also uses ghosts and spirits using technology/the Internet to haunt people. Off the top of my head there’s Pulse and One Missed Call. Both of them got remade in English, but weren’t as popular as The Ring. Basically, Japanese ghosts are REALLY GOOD at using electronics to their advantage.

As far as I know the actual turbo granny legend doesnt have much to do with suckling teats or gobbling dongs pretty sure she just gets you into a car crash but as you probably know A LOT of other yokai stories incorporate similar things so I would assume the author Yukinobu Tatsu just threw it in to add a level of absurdity and to lean into the more literal part of the coming of age story with sexuality and its many facets, I mean the kid literally loses his manhood. Also want to note but ya with turbo granny she would try to see the spirits of the young girls who were killed to comfort them since they were left at and around the tunnel after the fact. Which also explains what she did to the serpo for Momo (even if she did attack her afterwards). I think yall will like the cat once introduced lmao I know I did If anyone knows more please correct me if I'm wrong id love to know more and apologies if someone already explained any of this :))

There is a fan speculation being shared right now where the reason why granny took his pp is because he's a male, which is the same gender of the suspect(s) who unalive those girls. But her taking his pp actually has nothing to do with his gender and the gender of the people who vayo-lated and unalive those girls. Granny can actually curse both genders. it just so happens that okarun was the one who got cursed by granny. And her talking about gobbling his pp is just part of her foul-mouthed personality, which adds a bit of humor to her character. Also there's no mention where all of the suspects who unalive those girls are all male. She also ask okarun if he wants to suckle her teats, which a person who dislike men would never ask. It's just part of her foul-mouth personality. And another information that is being copy and pasted by ALOT of people right now is that the reason why granny entered the phone in episode 1 is because granny tried saving momo from being grape by the aliens is purely a fan speculation. The truth is, it's just a scene thought by the author of thinking on how he can make momo encounter okarun in his cursed state and momo being saved from the aliens. And the fan speculation would get immediately destroyed if people remembered that granny have been trying to unalive momo since episode 1 and almost vayo-lated her in episode 3. Her consoling the spirit girls is just to make her image look better for obvious future plots that includes her. There are also some comments where they say that you guys didn't pick up those fan speculations when they themselves clearly just read those information and started spreading it. They just want to feel superior or smart. So the point is, there are scenes where you don't have to think too deeply about the plot and if you remember all the information in the previous episodes, you'd see that alot of fan speculations are complete bull. But in the end, just enjoy the show.
