So is it better to get married soon and update the profile or should I accept the ITA and submit the file and after 3 -4 months get married and update the file at that time. like even if they recalculate my points with married status is gone be higher than 75. so I am very confused. can you help me, please?

Thanks for this video. I have another question. I received my COPR and passport stamped on 23rd, July and received marriage certificate on 27th July . I was waiting for marriage certificate before I inform IRCC about the change in marital status, got married in Apr '22. My visa has an expiration of Nov, if IRCC fails to check spouse documents by then, will they extend my landing date?
@canadavlogs2182 жыл бұрын
Yes they will extend if they are unable to process spouse documents by that time - relax it’s a defined process. The only thing is IRCC might question about marriage in April, informing now, which is quite a delay, please add letter of explanation for why you did this

Hi sir, I applied for Canada PR under CEC and got married after receiving COPR and visa but before landing. So I informed IRCC by raising webform and emailing Canadian high commission New Delhi. It’s been more than a month and I haven’t heard back anything from Delhi embassy.Although I did get a reply from IRCC canada in response to the webform with bunch of forms to fill and docs to submit. My spouse won’t be accompanying me to Canada. Will I still need to submit the forms

Hi, I have a question. I am planning to get married in December, and during that same time, I will be applying for my PR. This is my scenario. My fiancé lives and work in Canada 8 months out of each year for 10 years so he can easily get a work permit and apply for himself and get through with his PR in 6 months. Could it be a case where I can apply for my PR, add him to application and not pay the processing fee etc for him? So in essence, all I would do I inform IRCC that I am married but he won't be a part of the processing etc. going to Canada.
@canadavlogs2182 жыл бұрын
1. If he’s already working 8 months here does he not have work permit already ? 2. You have to pay the application fees if you add spouse, that cannot be skipped 3. Looks like he’s applying his own PR, you are doing yours so why add each other ?
@julisa66442 жыл бұрын
@@canadavlogs218 Yes he has a work permit, I meant to extend his work permit and apply for his PR. My question is, even though we would be getting married we could apply separately by using different ways or by different programs?

Now I am confused whether to submit the docs today in Abu Dhabi and then later apply for change in Marital status. Or wait till my marriage 23 March to update my application ( raise webform) . The major concern is the 30 days deadline. I will be back to Abu Dhabi after this 30 days deadline.

I have enough money in my account to show as POF for both of us but my fiance doesn't . Hi, Thank you for your video, I am in the same boat. I got married 3 months after the submission of my e-Apr. I have made submissions for my spouse but my lawyer told me that the CRS points are recalculated but my application won’t be going back to the pool. I am not sure of this anymore. Anyway, we made the submissions for my husband by last week of July. I have following questions: 1. My lawyer is insisting that I should be in Canada ASAP. He says it might delay the processing of my PR. I am not able to fly due to the current restrictions from Canada on Indian commercial flights. I have been in India since mar 2021. Although, I am working remote. 2. If we get a PPR, is it okay if I submit when I am in Canada and my husband is in India? 3. Is there a generic timeline for how long the processing takes. I submitted my e-APR as a single applicant in January 2021. My husband’s documents and documents related to proof of marriage, all was done on July 27.

Your lawyer doesn’t know the law then 😆 He/she must be a consultant, not immigration lawyer Once you land you are PR, then if you want to invite your husband it’s only via the spousal sponsorship route which takes about an year No fixed processing times specially during situation around COVID, they are short staffed Details at the bottom of this page: show this to your lawyer www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/assessing-electronic-application-on-section-a11-2.html
