I’ve been a silent viewer for years now, but I have to say you really inspired me with your content and dedication to pursuing your career in the international relations realm as well as posting on KZbin and doing the things you are passionate about! You gave me a push to start my own channel and embrace the fact that I am pursuing a career in intelligence but that I can still enjoy pursuing creative things like KZbin! Thanks Kristee :)

I use my face roller more instead of my gha sha. I really need to get back into using that 😅 Did anyone else have to work Monday July 5th? It was dreadful tbh. 😂

About the Kindle you have. Is it the basic or paper white version? And one more thing did you get it with Ads? If so, how is it? Thank you so much!
@genie56953 жыл бұрын
I dont know about Kristee, but I have a kindle paperwhite with ads. I chose this because it was water resistant and had a bigger memory option when I purchased it. I have a 32gb paperwhite. The ads really do not bother me, you can configure the ads to either be random from the amazon kindle store or you can have them personalized (for example: “because you like this book, try this…” or “next in your series is…”) and it is not a hinderance because once you open the kindle library, there are no ads! I love my kindle paperwhite but I have friends who have the regular kindle and they are very similar. Memory and water resistant features are the main takeaway points. Hope this helps!

It seems like you want to be a full time KZbinr but need the financial security of another job. Is that right?? Is that why you don’t find a long term job?
@olbird76473 жыл бұрын
I'd say the exact opposite tbh as she's studied hard for a career in conflict resolution/advocacy/international relations type fields but has had 2 fixed-term contracts. The length of contracts have not been her choice it's just that roles in public services, charity and non-profit sectors are often fixed-term as they are reliant on funding for very specific, often time-limited, projects. I've worked in the public/charity/non-profit arena for nearly 40 years and would love a permanent contract- the longest to date has been for 5 years!!
@Heather42723 жыл бұрын
@@olbird7647 it must be a regional thing. I also work for a non profit in the Midwest and do not see many many short term contract jobs.
@olbird76473 жыл бұрын
@@Heather4272 ooh you're lucky! i'm in the UK and would love a permanent role- it can be so frustrating when your work is making a real difference to people's lives and the project comes to an end or a change of government brings in new policies and funding literally just stops 🤷♀️ At least Kristee's recent contracts have provided excellent experience and insight into her preferred career path 😊
