Castor may be marking his territory due to the other male next to him. Try moving him into a different place to see if he'll pee again

Oh yeah I'm certain he's doing that because of the other buck now but I'm just not interested in keeping him around anymore anyways.

I think the other hutch looks great. Will you be putting the baby rabbits in the other hutch you made while they grow to appropriate size?

Great question! The main hutch has a section to the left that I have opened up for Lila and the kits. That's where they'll grow out for now. I'm likely going to build more hutches too when I get an opportunity.

With all animals it's about genetics. You keep the best and eat/sell the worst. Get rid of the buck and see if you can't get a good female. The smell should be fine although the space may not be... Especially after she has bunnies. Side note, having two males next to each other may be the issue. I'm sure if you get rid of Castor, Totoro will stop marking as well. You only need one buck to service multiple females.

I actually got a doe to replace Castor. The video will be up in the morning. :-) Castor was actually the only one marking. Im sure he was doing it cuz of Totoro. Totoro never did any marking surprisingly. I asked a few breeders and they've all said it's temperment. Some will mark a ton and some will not. So they breed for those who are less likely to. It's been quite a learning experience tho.

male rabbits dont need nestboxes at all they are happy in a hutch, and rabbist like open spaces like a colony because they can always burrow domestic rabbits althoug they still are "pray" animals they arent as anxious in open spaces so the thing you have been saying at the end of the video isnt really true

Question if castor lived with A female for Long time what would happen besides making babys Becaus ofcourse They would breed. And good job bro 👍😁

Yeah they'd just breed but Castor would hurt the kits or doe if he stays around them.
