Its super refreshing to see organisation/tours/decor in houses which are a bit more 'modest'. Where we live/our level of lifestyle is much comparable to yours where as lots of other you tubers I follow have very large American homes which are just totally out of reach for us. This is what makes you so relatable. THANK YOU!

Johanna Lloyd Right! All other videos I’ve seen are usually mansions or they have multiple rooms as a closet/makeup study meanwhile I have 2 bedrooms and a garage 😅 I always get great ideas from these videos, her bathroom one was an eye opener for me to organize it better

Not out of reach, but totally not necessary. 70% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Nice to have a big closet to cry and stress over house payments every month. Many KZbinrs are renting the giant homes and leasing their fancy cars.

Love this realistic minimalism series! I’m not the type of person that’s into the extreme minimalism trend, but, there is definitely something to be said to only having the things you know you’ll actually use. My home has been driving me crazy lately because the clutter has started to creep in, but this series has been great motivation for tackling the problem areas in my home🏡

Hi Natalie, we just did fire safety training at work. One of the things the trainer was concerned about was Himalayan salt lamps. When they get warm they sweat, and that corrodes the metal electrical parts of the lamp, which can lead to house fires. Thanks for all your motivational help, from Sydney Australia.

Just saw the little preview clip with the sweaters - I just switched over to my winter wardrobe (all my summer stuff is under my bed), and took inventory. I own 15 sweaters/knits. On the plus side, that's more than every other type of long-sleeved shirt, combined. San Francisco doesn't get *that* cold, but my go-to not-rainy weather attire is a sweater + puffy vest if I leave the house.

Loving this! I need to do something similar. On another note, I am so happy to hear that you are pleased with your body now that you are feeling better. That might sound odd, but I had very similar symptoms last year for about 4-5 months due to a condition that affected my stomach muscles, and I lost 55 lbs during that time. Now that I have gained about 25 back, some of my doctors (including my GI 🤦) have been upset that I gained weight back, because I started out overweight. It's making it difficult for me to be happy with being healthy again and being able to properly digest my food. So hearing you talk about that was actually very helpful to me!

I have not been ill, but I was a very skinny girl (in highschool, kids would tease me about being anorexic). About 6 years ago, I had a BMI of 17.3 (underweight), currently it is 23.8 which is a healthy weight. I feel so much better, but my mother is up me for gaining weight and sort of sneakily including into conversation I should exercise more to lose weight, even after telling her I feel so much better now. It hurts, when people you love don't agree with you... How you feel is more important than the number shown on the scale!

This is quite literally my go-to series right now as I go through our house as well! Today is closet day and I’m a little concerned with just HOW MUCH STUFF accumulated. Can I ask how you first decided to be minimal with your clothes? My family is new to minimalism and I’m having trouble figuring out how to select the pieces of clothing that I’ll keep (I’m a big clothes person too) and was thinking of doing a capsule wardrobe for both myself, a SAHM and my 2 year old son.
@NatalieBennett4 жыл бұрын
It's just easier with less for me. It gives me less options making it easier to pick and outfit and go! Also, it makes laundry and organization easier. I've pretty much always had more of a "minimal" collection of clothes because I've NEVER had a walk-in closet or much space to store clothing so it's kind of necessary for me to have a smaller number of items ☺️
