Wow - yes! That was my comment, too. How did the defendant not get a sense of this in the first 2 minutes speaking to him. The contractor should never have agreed to do the job for this guy - it was 'preordained'...there was going to be a problem with this customer, no matter what the workers said or did.

I actually agree that the judge needs to take her own advice and hit her pause button. Some of the time they were trying to talk over her but some of the time she asked him a question and then didn't let them respond. She didn't used to be so damn impatient. I get that some of these litigants push anybody's buttons, but if you ask a question, at least shut up and give them a chance to answer.

$1500 for digging up the pipes and sounded like replaced a valve, what a deal. If the pipes are already copper and in good condition, why replace them. This plaintiff was looking for a quick scam, they didn't replace the copper pipes so give me back my money. The plumber got permits and did part of the job and saved you money by not screwing you. What a jerk.
